if i could give this place a negative 5 i would. i was here for a week. sedated every single day except the last one or two days. i would wake up with no recollection of why and how i got there. they were giving me meds that weren't helping. they all spoke in a foreign language night shifts. i was abused the night-morning into the day i left. a tall african american man came into my room and punched me in the ear/side of head so hard. i screamed and woke everyone on the floor up. they used that as and excuse to wake the rest... read more

Don't go there!!! Go somewhere anywhere else. I wished I'd paid attention to the reviews before I went on and was KEPT 11 DAYS!!!! They advertised 5 to 7, yea....unless you have good insurance, well just settle into hibernation, cuz u ain't goin anywhere for a while.

This place has some under the table illegal scam they pull with all of our area hospitals to where they kick individuals families away and transfer them to facilities like these secretly enrolled by the individuals family and kept for day without any communication or oversight. My young adult daughter has no one representing her while her mental health is compromised and is being exploited by the hospital system with the help of insurance companies. This facility is by far the worst I have ever been to!!! They made me wait five hours one day and then told me I need to go home because some certain papers aren't signed so I went home. The next day I am still currently here it has been about six hours and I have nothing good to say. They just leave you high and dry in the lobby in the waiting area and don't check in on you or really seem to care about their clients. My daughter was bullied by a member of the nursing staff AND the director (Will) into signing herself in so they could watch her on her new meds. They told her she would be able to have visitors and could sign herself out at anytime. She sent messages BEFORE she signed any paperwork that she was scared and wanted to go home. They did not let her so I arrived at the facility to remove her (again before ANY paperwork was signed). I was here because I voluntarily went to the hospital in a crisis and allowed myself to be 10:13'ed. I understand the legal process there and was okay with it. I needed help immediately. I left worse than I arrived. I am currently in a program where I am receiving amazing support and help, and every therapist/doctor I've seen since I was at Lakeview has completely validated my concerns, that Lakeview was not okay. I'm 28. First time ever in a mental hospital that I should NOT of been placed in. No insurance. I been out for two weeks and I still have ptsd from it and weird tics that happen to me now that never used to. Words coming from the abusive staff still pop into my head and make me shiver. This place is awful they can't even figure out how to transfer a call. Once you're in there you might as well not exist. The staff members are rude and unprofessional. I have never had this many issues trying to get in contact with a loved one. F**k this place and the people that run it.

This was my daughter first psychotic break. They we horrible to put it nicely. No one bothered to ask about past medical history, no one called to explain what's happening nothing!!! I never heard from a doctor to explain anything. I was called. 9 days after she was admitted to come get her. Still no one explained how we were to help or what our expectations should be. Never ever send anyone you love here. They are good for taking care of a box or rocks and a bowl of goldfish. Period!!!
