They have very nice staff, food is fresh, good dining experience. room are good size and could be mop on a weekly basis would be good. My love one is adjusting good. For this short time here, she's doing much better. Loving this facility.
I enjoyed my tour of Landon Ridge. The facility was absolutely gorgeous. However, for my father-in-law it will not be a good fit for his personality and personal taste in comforts. The facility was large and opulent, and although beautiful, he would not be comfortable as he prefers a smaller more simple environment.
If they are relatively self sufficient then the facility is good. Nice location, good food, plenty of activities. If they need more assistance, the facility is quite lacking. Medication administration is awful - they ran out of my mom's medication and didn't tell me until I inquired 10 days later because her sugar was out of control. They have lost paperwork that was turned in to get her on their pharmacy network. They were not getting her for meals (this was finally corrected). Staff is very friendly and helpful. I was surprised how quickly they learned mom's name and a few things about her. Aside from her 1st night there, she hasn't stayed in her room for meals. On her good days, mom likes it there as well.
Very pleased with the overall experience. Landon Ridge is a spotless place. The staff all speak to you when you pass them in the halls. Overall the care is good. The food is also good.
5's all the way down! She absolutely loves it here. The director is very hands on and you can tell she truly loves her job. They even have a beauty salon there!
The meals provided are very sodium and carb heavy. I would like to see healthier meals. The activities offered are very limited. Physical activities are very few and far between. Turnover in staff, including directors, is high. Some are carrying the workload of more than one.

When it comes to the cleanliness, there is a strong urine smell in memory care area. Our loved ones room/bathroom is not always clean, not sure if dad is monitored for showers regularly. Our loved one says the food is good. Our loved one has fun on the outings and happy hours and music events. The cost is comparable to other facilities, and for total care is a good value.
