We've done business with LBS Financial for decades. Have visited many locations (Long Beach, Lakewood, Seal Beach area) for one reason or another and experienced excellent customer service everytime. We needed a notary and they offer that service FREE for their members. No appointment necessary. Available at all locations. Great parking at the Cerritos office so we prefer this location. Joining this credit union is the best banking choice we've ever made.

I like the credit union itself, even though they aren't as helpful as Schoolsfirst I still like the credit union feel. I've gone to this branch particularly and they weren't so welcoming, it was though I was just another customer, and nothing special. The bank manager (female) not sure of her name is not helpful and rude, compared to other LBS branches I've gone into.

I love this place. Everyone is very competent, quick and friendly. They're all very knowledgeable and well informed. I originally came here to get away from Union Bank and their less than stellar employees but I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful all of their employees are. I've referred several people to this place as a testament to how much I trust and enjoy this bank.

I needed a new bank since the online bank i'm currently using is gonna cease operations soon. I chose LBS because of the mostly good reviews I've seen on Yelp and because of the great experience I had with another credit union prior to moving to SoCal. I had Chris B. as my Financial Service Rep and the sign up process couldn't have been any better. I always enjoy the great customer service from lbs financial. Oswaldo is one of the financial advisers at the Cerritos branch and he is very helpful and always has a positive attitude.

simple like the old days. Tellers are kind and deposit/withdrawal slips not needed. Really clean office. Waiting area is off to the side and not in the middle. They have a free coin counter for those with a credit union account. Even if you don't have an account, you can use their coin counter, but it will charge you a bit. Parking is fine. Spaces are normal and located within a large plaza. It's located near and Chuck E. Cheese though, so I try not to park near that area since kids don't really care about door dings. :(

Horrible experience trying to execute a simple wire transfer at LBS. I went into the Los Altos branch in person to initiate a time-sensitive and critical wire transfer to secure an out of state property that I was purchasing. I needed to send earnest money to a title company in Tennessee. Keep in mind that I was physically present at their brick and mortar facility, with all personal identification in hand, and my account has sufficient funds for the transfer.
