This probably one of the best experiences i have had in a long time at a bank... Great people and excellent service... I recommend to anyone who wants to open an account with bank to see lbsfcu los altos branch...

It's been nearly 12 yrs since I bank with them. I had a 17% car loan interest rate and brought it over to LBS and they dropped it down to 4% then additional .25% with auto payment. My car jumped from 17% to 3.75%!!! Thanks to Dewin who is no longer working with them. So far I have gotten good experience with them. On my birthday twice my account was frozen due to some fraud and it took a few days to get it back but I got it back. I've been a member for 20+ years. I moved to Texas 15 years ago and there's clearly no local office here, but I'd never think of leaving the credit union. They are upright and do the right thing. I've never had a dispute with them or their practices.

I've been a member since 1986 and I opened a savings account for all three of my children and as adults they have their own account with LBSFCU. We have bought our cars through them, took out personal loans, and home loans. We've encouraged other family members and friends to join the credit union and they have. This last summer my card was compromised and LBSFCU put my card on hold to verify any purchases I may have made. I've never had a bad experience here. I use the branch on 10th Street in Long Beach - but because I live in San Pedro I do most of my banking either on-line or by phone. Every single time I've needed anything, literally anything, they've bent over backwards to help me. I'd much rather use a credit union than a chain bank like Bank of America or Wells Fargo. This is the best credit union. My husbands grandparents were teachers at Wilson High. Many many years ago! The people that work there are so nice and helpful. It's clean and well organized. We have had a few different car loans from there. Good rates! I feel it's a good choice. The place goes back many years and goes from one generation to another. How cool is that?

Josie T. is my hero. She went above and beyond to help me with my home loan. I was shopping around for a loan few years back and the loan she gave me was the best among the reset of the lenders. She also helped my brother with his loan and he was so happy comparing to the options he got from his previous lenders (Chase). I will defiantly come back for another loan when I am ready for my big purchase.

I am a new member, for almost 1 year now. Since day one, LBSFCU by far had exceeded my expectations of customer service, friendliness, courteous, polite, etc staff of employees you can expect from a bank/loan company. I also love there security guard who knows all of, his regular members, always greets us, does his job right and protects us, kudos to you! Been a member for 13 years so far and it's great. They have great rates for auto loans, representatives are always nice and helpful. Even sent me a new card on their own when the target & home Depot hacking happened. This place makes me so happy that I don't have to put up with Chase or B of A
