They had a very nice sales guy. Mike called me back every time I would call him throughout the nearly year it took to complete the project. The house does look really good now. It was the world’s most painful process, frankly. I was constantly having them fix mistakes or the touch up paint was the wrong color, I was just never ending drama. There are still a few things. The basement flooded a few times. It does look really nice now.

I am always very bothered when we don't fulfill a customer's expectation and on this particular project I am confident that the work that was done was done at a high level. Everything went fine. There was a small issue with a window being broken when it arrived but they sent it back and took care of the problem very quickly. The contractors were very good. They cleaned up after themselves. We have a small baby and there were no issues in using them.
This is a case of what goes around comes around in a positive fashion. When I first had my house built, I had problems with the with the Hardi-Plank siding and repeat failure of the caulking the builder used (cheap). I called Lifetime and spoke to Gino who really helped me out (see Angie's List report dated 10/24/2007 on page 7 of reviews of their site for details). We were one of the first homes in the state of Washington to have artisiansiding, by Hardy Plank,put on. It looks like a cedar paneling and it is supposed to last the lifetime of the home. They did a great job. We are very pleased with the look and the quality of the work. <br /> <br /> They had to correct some problems with the structure of the home so that the siding was straight. I ended up going with him because he offered digital design services so we could visualize the project. So far he has been very responsive.
They were really professional and I really liked them. The only problem was the price--and money talks. Other than that, I was very pleased with the interaction I had with them.
Gino and his staff consulted with me several times, offering creative suggestions and putting lots of thought into figuring out how best to create what I wanted. We settled on one skylight plan that seemed to be as close to my vision as we could come, but Gino kept thinking about it and called back to say he had worked with the window company to create something that would match what I wanted even more closely.
