This was phase 1 of our exterior remodel and it went extremely smoothly and they finished ahead of schedule. Ralph and his team had the difficult and messy task of removing EIFS (basically stucco-covered styrofoam) and installing cedar and skirl siding and cultured stone. They managed to minimize the mess of the styrofoam (which was substantial) and did an amazing job of helping us get the colors of the house just right. Gino and Mike were practically interrogated during the bid process. Both answered questions thoroughly and knowledgably. We felt very confident by the time the project started. This was a huge project that had to be coordinated with a landscaping project due to grading issues (it effected deck installation). The project went well. We are pleased with the outcome.
We consulted 5 contractors before choosing Lifetime. We were actually referred to them by another contractor who declined to do the work because of the difficulty of our site. We had a competitive bid from Gino within 24 hours. The crew was great and they genuinely made every effort to be sure we were happy with the project. We are very pleased with the results and would without hesitation recommend them to anyone needing siding, or outside remodeling.
Ralph was the estimator and general contrator for this job. I intially received 3 estimates, one was for replace dry rotted portions and the bottom boards of the LP siding, and repaint the whole house ("Lipstick on a Pig"). The next was for replacing all the LP Siding and repainting the whole house. (The sides of the house has T-111, the front LP) The third was for replacing all of the siding with Hardie Plank. From the very beginning I was impressed by Gino Streano's presentation of the replacement windows, sliding doors and skylights he recommended and even more his emphasis and attention to detail on his standards for installation, the most important part of achieving the desired energy conservation savings. Overall, the work he and his crews performed was truly outstanding. This was a big investment for us, so we really wanted to make a huge improvement for the money spent. Lifetime remodeling exceeded all our expectations.
