The company is really comprehensive and the contractors themselves know what they are doing. We had the house sided and painted, after the first coat of paint we decided to change colors slightly, they didn't charge us extra. I would recommend this company of you have a big overall project. For little jobs your probably better off with a personal contractor who is experienced in that work.
Lifetime was not the highest estimate or the lowest. Gino stopped by everyday to check on the crews and progress and to respond to any concerns or changes we wanted. The work crews were professional, courteous, and punctual. I have worked with numerous contractors on homes I have owned in Wisconsin and California and Lifetime Remodeling Systems was the best experience I have had. I highly recommend them. We're indeed fortunate in the Portland area to have so many topflight house restoration companies, and Lifetime is one of the best we've dealt with while restoring our 1910 craftsman bungalow. They were prompt and efficient, and the project was actually completed ahead of schedule! The team was wonderful to work with, and very considerate of our home and comfort. They uncovered and preserved some great architectural details that had been covered with the prior siding, and added little details that really makes the house look polished and complete. Gino was readily available and informative throughout the process, from the bid to the financing. Overall a great experience!

Mike did a superb job of assessing our needs and being flexible to address problems as they came up. Job took longer than anticipated - partly because there were so many problem areas that needed to be addressed, as well as the fact that our roof has lots of valleys that took a really long time to measure, cut and put down all the new plywood. Mike Short prepared an estimate for each repair individually so we could compare with other quotes and prioritize our needs. He visited the property, measured and asked many important questions needed to properly perform an estimate. Other companies provided a general estimate and didn't ask many questions regarding our needs, which is one of the many reasons we chose Lifetime Remodeling Systems.
