New review!!! Amazing! We had a new server, Rebecca, and she was absolutely lovely. Such a friendly, happy presence, and she was extremely attentive. The food and drinks came out quickly and we would definitely come again! The patio is undeniably the best in Gastown - great for people watching on a sunny day, with a relaxed vibe and decent drinks & food. Also relatively affordable, especially for the area which is a step up from Chill Winston. Unfortunately, service on the patio has been super terrible the past couple of times I have been to this location. I usually never ever post negative reviews but we were really bummed out about this place. The location is excellent- right across from Gassy Jack himself- the decor is cool, and the menu looked great so we wanted to love it here. We just stopped in to grab a drink and peruse the menu really but we were impressed with all the options. Pretty unimpressed. The guaranteed about Chill Winston was the great service and that has significantly gone down hill. Our server needed to be flagged down every time we needed something and even then didn't come right away. Drinks took forever and payment took even longer. Probably won't come back, or it definitely won't be my first choice in an area with so many options.

Checked out the locals new location (since it took over the beloved Chill Winston) just for a cocktail. Asked the server if they make their whisky sours with egg white and she said yes, when the sours were dropped off it was not made that way. Would drink it without it anyways but wanted to let her know, when I did she said "oh the bartender must be new" and walked away.... Not that it was the end of the world, but just a disappointing lack of customer care.
