Awesome food and location in Gastown. It's positioned nicely for people watching and getting some sun on their large patios. We had some apps and burgers and the food was all very good for a gastropub like this. I'm not going a full 5 stars because for as many employees as they had running around, the service was a tad slow. Nothing too bad, but noticeable. Great place otherwise.

Like many folks In Gastown, we were visitors, and wandered into Local after being drawn by their patio. It was Saturday afternoon and busy, but the hostess sat us at a great two seat table at the fence by the patio. We noticed lots of guests whose dogs were laying happily on the other side of the fence. A waitress stopped by, cleaned the table (which was pretty clean already) and took our drinks order. Came here for lunch had burger and it was great. Very trendy and loud that's why 4 stars. Other then that good food and atmosphere.

Spent this past Saturday night at Local Gastown and had a great time! They had a DJ playing and the vibe was amazing! Service was great and the food is delicious! Love the location and will definitely be back!
I had such a great time this past Saturday. The DJ played killer music - such good vibes which had me and my girls stay literally all night until 2am. Jason, one of the managers, is awesome-super personable and a nice guy! We will most definitely be back. Love the new location!
All I can say is AWESOME!! We are an out of town group checking around for somewhere to eat lunch and just walked into this place. Definitely not disappointed! Simple menu, but a good variety for delicious food and drinks! Generous amounts to definitely fill you up! Great atmosphere inside and out for dates or just hanging out. Can't wait to come back the next time we're in town!

Really attentive and friendly service at a perfect location in Gastown. The patio is sunny all day and is a great place to people watch. Food is great. Really fun place to visit.
