Being a huge supporter of local by coming here on the regular. I was completely disappointed by their new nachos. My partner and I came here with the excitement of having a full order of nachos that we enjoy on the regular but we were never informed by the changes that occurred. We love the kitchen staff that assemble all the dishes because they do a fabulous job day in and day out. We are disappointed by the direction the culinary team has decided to move in and will not be regular customers moving forward.

Im from seattle washington. i came in with a group of 6 people and we all ordered dishes. upon ordering my dish (hippy egg on toast on happy hour menu) the toast was cold and dry and very difficult to eat. the eggs (poached) were cold and were cooked all the way well done when i asked for them to be runny. when i informed the waitress of this matter she didnt seem to assist and tried to explain her way out of it as if i dont know my food pallet. wouldnt ever go to this place again. terrible service

Local Gastown is a fun place to spend a lunch or early afternoon of people watching - my bitch likes the Tuna Club and I always order the nachos which I I know to be the best this side of San Antone / I'll eat anything of course so really the secret to pleasein me is good service / All the Local gals are always in a festive mood and the ambience of historic Gastown make the experience like a mini vacation / the GM Brody Jones has established himself as a regular Vancouver Bon vivant in the style of a gentlemanly Ted Kenned... read more

Went in for drinks. Mine was overloaded with vodka which made it unappealing for me. Nothing about the place from the decor, customer service or menu stood out. I did notice quite a few dirty tables despite it being relatively slow with lots of staff. Being surrounded by establishments like The Diamond, Six Acres, L'Abattoir, etc I was just expecting it to have some flare or something unique. Definitely missing Chill Winston!
Came here last month around 1am on a saturday night to get some late night grub. Located in gastown so you already know, it was very lively, which was cool i guess. I was hoping that if I came during a period where there were a good amount of people, that I would get fresh food. NOPE. Ordered some wings and got cold, microwaved wings. New review!!! Amazing! We had a new server, Rebecca, and she was absolutely lovely. Such a friendly, happy presence, and she was extremely attentive. The food and drinks came out quickly and we would definitely come again! The patio is undeniably the best in Gastown - great for people watching on a sunny day, with a relaxed vibe and decent drinks & food. Also relatively affordable, especially for the area which is a step up from Chill Winston. Unfortunately, service on the patio has been super terrible the past couple of times I have been to this location. I usually never ever post negative reviews but we were really bummed out about this place. The location is excellent- right across from Gassy Jack himself- the decor is cool, and the menu looked great so we wanted to love it here. We just stopped in to grab a drink and peruse the menu really but we were impressed with all the options. Pretty unimpressed. The guaranteed about Chill Winston was the great service and that has significantly gone down hill. Our server needed to be flagged down every time we needed something and even then didn't come right away. Drinks took forever and payment took even longer. Probably won't come back, or it definitely won't be my first choice in an area with so many options.
