Staff are usually pretty on it and friendly however avoid this place when its busy if you want any kind of decent service. Food is so so, beer selection is great. Best Caesar ive had in a long long time!

When writing reviews I always think you have to match the experience with your realistic expectations. When going to Local on a Saturday night I expected to have to wait for a table, a lively loud atmosphere and great people watching/views to pair with a drink. I feel our experience delivered. We only had to wait about 35 minutes for a patio table (we had arrived at around 730pm). My friend just moved in right down the street from this place which is probably the best thing that could have happened to my summer. Went in for drinks and a meal the other night, it was quite busy trying to get in but the line moves quicker than you'd think as many people bail out. I had the standard burger ($12.50, I think?) which is undoubtedly one of the best in the city. Super casual and great food! Ordered a Moscow mule with a Tijuana Caesar Salad! So so delicious! My sister got the crispy chicken sandwich and loved it, but it was huge. We also started off with truffle parm yam fries that were so yummy! Great place!!!

I had brunch there this morning - perhaps the best fried egg sandwich that I didn't make myself (perfectly cooked), with incredibly crispy potatoes, and some chips with guacamole. My wife had two soft poached eggs and the potatoes also. Service was outstanding, servers were friendly and engaging, and I will definitely return.

Love the nachos, the cider, the caesars! Have not tried anything else. Very nice patio but often there's a wait to get a seat. I haven't ever had a bad experience with the service but I definitely agree with the other reviews that their service could be improved. The experience getting seated is not great: The hostesses aren't very warm and they have forgotten to seat me in the past. The waitresses are often a bit grumpy.
