This is a class act professional company. Met with me at my home 2 days after I called.They met with the insurance adjuster 2 days after that. Then in 10 days I had a new roof that was totally completed in 1 day. I had a small problem with getting all of my money from the insurance co. and Lois in accounting was so nice and helpful about it.

On the positive side, the roof Lon Smith and Company installed has not yet leaked and the roof looks good from the ground. On the negative side, Lon Smith's Roofing workers took away the extra full roll of 30# roof felt, and the extra 34' or so of drip edge trim, and the the 4'x8' sheet of roofing plywood when they were done installing the roof, all of these items the homeowner (myself) has to pay for. While we are disappointed in the report posted by our customer, we need to clarify some of the issues Mr. [Member Name Removed] mentions. The insurance companies set the prices for storm roof replacements. They update these prices on a monthly basis to reflect changing market conditions. Sometimes they go up, sometimes they go down. Due to the huge demand from last year's hail storms, prices for material and labor continued to rise all year. The estimator was knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Quote was reasonable for the amount of work to be done. The installation crew was fast, efficient and friendly. The old roof was removed and immediately placed in a large trailer. No big mess. Anything dropping on the ground were picked up promptly. The entire work was completed in two and a half days. The yard was cleaned and spotless. An inspector from Lon Smith Roofing checked on the progress several times a day. He went over their 20 point checklist with me to v... read more

Lon Smith was wonderful to work with. We were able to get a quote from them within 48 hours of inquiring and quickly scheduled our roof replacement date. We had a late change to the job based on our personal preference and their crew was accommodating and quickly contacted everyone to make it happen. The crew was friendly and did a great job cleaning up, I would definitely choose them again!

They were very professional in scheduling and providing the estimate. A long period of time went by and I had to call before they came out to do the work. The final coating was not applied until after I got the invoice and called to remind them that the work was not finished. When finally completed, the work met all of my expectations.

Excellent. Roofers showed up on time and finished earlier than anticipated. Started and finished in one day. Quality control guy came several days later to walk through the job and explain everything to me.

<p>I had Lon Smith replace my roof in September 2016. The salesman was excellent – very professional, responsive, informative and offered a fair price. I had looked at 2 other roofing companies and neither salesmen were even close. The actual work was done by a crew of 5-6 with a Lon Smith inspector “overseeing” the project. The job took 2 days.
