Very overpriced paid $60 for a pizza will not be coming back

We were in town (Phoenix) for Mardi Gras week that also coincided with Valentine's Day, and our reservation was for a somewhat later-than-usual dinner time (20:15) on Valentine's Day. Valet parking was extremely chaotic/disorganized, and once inside we still had to wait ~35 minutes to be seated (beyond our on-time arrival). The Host was kind enough to provide a glass of sparkling wine for us while we waited, which was a nice touch. Had a 7:15 reservation on Valentines Day but was not seated until 8:15. No servicer at the table for almost 15 mins. Arancini‘s were undercooked, and the food quality was equivalent to Olive Garden if not worse. Very expensive restaurant for pasta and average wine.

We won’t be dining here again. We had 630pm reservations on Valentines day. Even after waiting 5 minutes for valet ($12) to take care of the car. We checked in with the hostess at 620pm. They do not have a notification system once you check in for your reservations, so we just stood in the sea of people in the check-in area for them to come get us when our table was ready. Had 7pm reservation for 2 and didn't get seated until 730, Hostess staff seemed very overwhelmed and chaotic. Our server was not attentive and disappeared for a long time. We didn't have our dessert brought to us timely and decided to take it to go. The overall experience was poor service, but food was good.

I tend not to leave bad reviews but I will never recommend this place to anyone. Reservation was at 6:15 PM and were seated at 7:00 PM. Waitress was moody, drinks took forever and were all bland when they got to the table. Food was tasteless. Overall a bad and expensive experience.

Overall for the buildup and the price, I found the experience mediocre. The signature lemon pasta dish was fine, the butternut squash ravioli was dry (filling). Our wine order was delivered after we finished our main. (It was ordered well in advance). There were some nice touches from the staff…but it felt a bit forced. If you are looking for high end Italian I probably wouldn’t start here.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at Luna. We did not recieve our entrees until two hours after our reservation time. Food came out wrong several times and the seafood was extremely undercooked and completely inedible. Bottled beers and glasses of wine took an inappropriate amount of time to come out. We completely understand this is one of the busiest weekends in Scottsdale but the entire experience start to finish was inexcusable. We will not be returning.
