We were so disappointed in the whole experience. We got seated on time (great hostesses) waited for 25 minutes at our table to have a very nervous new waiter. Did not introduce himself, took our drink and appetizer order. Waited another 15 minutes for drinks, was told they were out of the appetizer we ordered. Food arrived but cold. Overall we know it was the first Saturday night, but very sloppy, very loud and very overpriced!

To be fair, this was day two so they’re still working out some kinks. It’s a gorgeous restaurant and we were there the second day it opened, but the service was pretty slow, got the wrong order (which was quickly corrected), not a lot of variety with wines by the glass and our food was barely warm. There’s a lot of competition in Scottsdale and for that price point, everything has to fire on all cylinders.

Most of the meals were excellent but my wife had the signature dish lemon pasta. The pasta was hard and stuck together, sauce was tasty but too thin and not enough. The shrimp was excellent in the pasta dish.

I was expecting to be “wowed” considering it was opening night and Giada was on-site. However, the pasta was limp and the quality did not come close to the prices that they commended. It’s a one & done for me.

Mediocre food for a high price. Twice as much salad dressing as needed. Pasta overcooked. Wait staff not trained well or prepared. Sat for 5 minutes before anyone came to our table. High noise level. Basically nothing memorable in a positive way, we will not be coming back anytime soon.
