Called company and the receptionist would ask me a question and before I could get the answer out she would say "please hold" and disappear for a few minutes. After going through this 5 ir 6 times I told her I wanted to work with a comapany that actually talked to me without constantly putting me on hold. Will not use this comany. Wanted new roofing on my ramada.

I waited 2 weeks for Lyons to send me a representative for a price quote on my roof. There was hail damage. They sent Jonathan and he was very polite and seemed to be knowledgeable. He gave me a quote which was approximately $4000.00 more than the insurance claim. H pointed out that the insurance company forgot some things on the quote to replace our roof. I went to the company's website and sent them a request for a free estimate on July 5, 2011. A company rep contacted me the next day, and I explained the work I would like done on my roof. I was told the earliest day someone could come take a look was in 2 weeks (July 19th), so we scheduled an appointment on that day between 8:00 am - 9:00 am. We called to get our roof fixed right after a hail storm had hit, so all roofers were slammed, but Lyons not only fit us in the schedule, but did the job at a price almost halfoff what our other quotes came in at.They showed up on schedule (for both thequote and when they returned to complete the work), fixed our leak in one trip, were friendly and professional throughout the entire process. Even with a leaky damaged roof, the earliest date available for a roof repair estimate was scheduled to be a in ONE MONTH from the initial call to LYONS ROOFING. However, LYONS ROOFING could not meet their obligation to provide a qualified employee to do the estimate re: roof repairs, as scheduled and did not inform the homeowner(until the scheduled day), that they wouldnot be able to keep the appointment ...because they stated that they had no one available to do the estimate. I emailed Lyons Roofing to have them conduct an inspection of the roof to check for leaks, hail damage, and cosmetic damage. About two days later, I received a phone call to set up the inspection. The person who conducted the inspection showed up during the allotted time and inspected the roof. The inspector did not find any damage from hail or leaks. However, there was some cosmetic issues that needed to be addressed (ie...broken tiles and raised tiles). The estimate to correct these issues was approximately 196.00 dollars.... read more

The staff at Lyon's roofing were all very nice. I waited a little over 24 hours for a schedule call-back and my appointment was set out for about a week. They were very clear on the fact that I had a wood shake roof needing maintenance and their company description said that they handled wood shake roofs. When John came out to look at my roof (early even), I thought we were doing great. It quickly became clear though that John didn't like wood shake roofs, and after he made a call to his boss, I was told they could not help ... read more

With the last 2 big storms the ceiling in one of our bathrooms buckled and water dripped into the wall as well. We had to poke a hole in the ceiling to get the water out. I called Lyons Roofing because they appear to have a stellar reputation--I checked Angie's List and a few similar websites. Coordinating the work was painful. scheduling did not contact me until after the estimated range provided by the sales associate. Quality control issues were identified after the installation which manifested itself in the following ways: - foam residue over newly installed trim - two small areas of exposure susceptible to water penetration - large pockets of excess foam buildup preventing an overall consistent look.
