Fairly reliable as far as results and easy to book, which for me are major pros. Service is a bit uneven, with some staff being lovely and careful, and others quite rude or sloppy. A few times I come back with a lot more color on my face than I would like, for example, or there might a scramble for staff where anger is not very concealed, and it is never pleasant to witness. A mixed bag for sure, but the convenience can't be beat.

Two topics: the color, 9NG, is too red. I didn't want that. It did not cover the gray. The other problem was a hidden subscription. I hate that. I always look carefully when I purchase something that it is a one-time purchase, but I still was somehow subscribed and surprised when I received a package after one month.

Kayla was great! It was my first visit and I came in for a root touch-up. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel like I was in good hands throughout the appointment. A few things kept the experience from being a full 5 stars. The salon doesn't appear to have a dedicated front desk, so my stylist had to pause what she was doing to assist a walk-in customer. Betsy is the best at the Bethesda location. she does excellent work. Unfortunately you can't guarantee selection of a certain stylist, so who knows how my hair will look the next time. I don't like the corporation as a whole- the inability to request a particular person, the horrible AI phone tree, and the corporation doesn't treat its employees well. I can only speak for the excellent highlight job Betsy did on my hair.
