My appointment went really well. No frills, reasonably priced. It's not a salon experience, but it was very handy to have someone else apply my color. The staff is so nice, knowledgeable, and we had a lot of fun listening to a really great playlist! Easy-peasy, single-process hair color bar.

Brooke did a wonderful job with my hair. She has such a lovely personality and very understanding. I asked for a chestnut color balayage and at first she informed me that I may need to come twice to achieve a lighter color since my natural hair is really dark and the product they use is gentle on the hair. For all the kinky / curly girls out there, Isis at Madison Reed In Bethesda is for you! I wanted to cover up some stray gras and freshen up my faded highlights. Isis recommended a root touch up with glaze and blow dry. The color and shine turned out amazing! I have been here 4 or 5 times now since January 2022 and always had a fantastic experience. But today was especially special. Kenneth, a self described "curly hair expert" taught me some life changing things about how I should be caring for and styling my wavy/curly hair and did some legit magic after my shampoo that has left my hair looking more beautiful than I could ever have hoped. I went to get my roots done after getting a professional highlight and dye job done. I had moderate expectations as I'd never done anything like this before. Usually I either do it myself or I get a haircut and do the whole thing for like $200++. But I did t have the root color at home and was short on time. I thought they did a great job! Madison Reed literally exceeded every expectation I had! I had an appointment with Kayla and she completely transformed my hair. I desperately needed a root touchup and asked to be blonder and she did that and more! Seriously could not recommend this place more! Great amazing service, 10/10 experience.

As far as customer service goes they get 100%! The product though I have more reservations about. I'm not sure if it was washed out fully after it was dyed. The blowout was beautiful and they did such a great job with that. The next day I was wearing a white romper and it was raining outside. My hair got a little bit wet and ended up staining my romper.
