After going to Maggie's in Southbury last week I am rethinking returning to that location. The wait staff is very nice and attentive. However, when having a long human hair cooked into a sauce I wonder if the cooking staff is practicing proper safety and cleanly measures in the kitchen. The manager was very kind and apologetic removing the meal off our bill and replacing it with another, but in the end, If a person prepping/cooking food has long hair, if in a hairnet, probably wouldn't wind up in customer's food. The worst. Waited 20 min in the bar to be served. 5 servers walked by us without an acknowledgement. Finally spoke to the manager who didnt seem to know what to do. Needless to say we left without eating or drinking. The other two restaurants in middlebury and Brookfield are far superior!!!

Dirty. Service, food and cleanliness has declined over the past few years. Tonight was my last night going here. Had to swat dirty flies away the entire meal, there were dead flies on our table and asked to change tables. Service was subpar- manager never came over to apologize, server never offered refills.

The absolute WORST service & servers! I don't know why I've given them so many chances. Obviously it comes down to management not caring either. Only go to eat here if you have all day to wait for your order to be wrong. I don't know how a server who basically works for tips can just ignore all their tables. I will never feel obligated to tip for bad service.

bathrooms were gross. Service slow. The only good thing that we were a largish group and they had plenty of seating. Some of the food was ok, the pizza was not good at all. Menu was huge but also did not look like they wash them.

I went this past Saturday with a friend around 9pm. It was not too busy, and it took our waiter quite a while to even acknowledge us. We ordered a few appetizers and they could have been cooked a bit longer. Our waiter never once checked on us after he took our order. He didn't even deliver our food or drinks, somebody else did. That was the worst service I have ever experienced. I would really like to enjoy Maggie's because some food items are good, but the service and food could be a lot better. One of the things we do in order to make sure service is never slow is to have everyone run each other's food and drinks. This would be why your server was not the one to deliver them to you. 3 items we asked for while ordering weren't available, service was slow and 2 items forgotten, it was Mother's Day and not all tables filled, so no excuse. Went to eat left overs and they didn't include any of our dressings/sauces! What a waste! I called and spoke with the GM, Lindsay.... She should be embarrassed! Offered us a $10 gift cert for our next meal after all of this??!! What a joke! I'd like to first start off by saying the 2 stars are for one particular server in general. I don't remember his name and my husband can't find the receipt but I think it was matt, he had a Mohawk. I've never felt more annoyed, saddened and angry before in my life. He was rude, didn't know ANYTHING on the menu. And was talking about how annoying tables are to TABLES AROUND ME! Very disappointed!! First we walk into a bar fight!! Then my empty glass sat on the end of the table as the waitress walked by 4-5 times! To top it off I opened my napkin and a bug came scurrying across the table, it was taken away by the staff without so much as an apology!! Cool place visually but service LACKING!! Not impressed!
