I've been there 2x and both times very disappointed. Menu is like a novel way too big . We ordered an app which took 20 min to get to us. I got a sandwich which was ok . My husband got the tuna which he ordered "slightly pink inside" well it was completely raw he sent it back and got it back in two min and it was still raw. Came here for dinner and the service was terrible. Our waiter didn't seem like she wanted to deal with us. The food was ok, nothing special. We tried giving the place a second chance and came back for drinks at the bar. The bartender was rude and not friendly for one second even when we tried to smile and joke with her. It didn't seem like she wanted to deal with us either. We won't be back.

This isn't our first bad experience there with poor customer service, but it's the first time I've walked out before the food arrived. Or the waiter. We were seated in seconds on a Sunday morning by a very friendly host/bartender 30 minutes after opening. I was very disappointed with Maggie's new Happy Hour. Happy Hour drinks only available if you sit at the bar. Happy Hour food can be served at both tables in the bar and at the bar... makes no sense.

I go here fairly often BUT now there is a new procedure in place that just pisses you off !! You can sit in the bar area but happy hour prices for drinks ONLY pertain to those sitting AT THE BAR and NOT in the booths by the bar !! Food is at Happy hour prices but who want have cheaply priced food and then pay for overpriced drinks !! PLEASE rethink this stupid new protocol !!

Stopped here with my father and step mother on my way back to school and wished we hadn't. Service was terrible waited 25 minutes for a waitress and another 45-1hr for food. After about half an hour of waiting the waitress brought us some breadsticks to hold us over for the wait. When food arrived, my steak was cooked wrong, potato was cold, and my fathers order was forgotten entirely. Will not be returning.
Disappointing St. Patty's Day dinner. Ordered Long Island Iced Teas and they were weak to the point of tasting just like an Arnold Palmer. Mussels appetizer was good but small portion and no dipping bread. Bangers and Dijon Mustard Mashed Potatoes with a Red Wine Demi Glace was horrible. This is an update to a response received from the manager of Maggies. Soon after I left my review/disappointment in Maggies I heard from the Manager, Ray. He apologized for the bad dining experience and stated a Gift Card would be issued. My Mother lives in Southbury and she was one of the lunch guests that day and as I was not going to go out of my way to revisit - I suggested he send the g/c to her IN Southbury. I agree is a hit or miss place,went today for lunch . Ordered one of the few things I have had good luck with in the past few visits. I didn't read what was in it since I had it before. They have changed what was in it and it wasn't a good change.
