Service exceptional but the food sucked. My Cuban was cold and not pressed. When I sent it back it came out 15 minutes later burnt and dry. Just sad. This Maggie's is failing, all the machines were broken so they could only offer water. Just sad to see that without Monica you guys are dying.
Literally THE WORST experience ever !!!!!!! Ordered a pickup at 11:15 got there at 11:45 and food was not ready. They never made it and wanted me to wait 20 minutes to prepare it while I had a uber waiting for me outside. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Will NEVER step foot in this place again no matter what county I encounter the business. Every time I come to this place there is always something wrong.

Dismal ambiance at best. I know that this place has its "mood" but I wasn't impressed. The food just wasn't good. Friends and family raved about their food, and maybe I'm spoiled, but I didn't get what everyone was talking about.

First experience with this location, have dined at the Glastonbury location a few times. Southbury location is definitely a cut below the Glastonbury location. Neither are great, but highlights of the 3 Southbury meals we had tonight: To Start: Chipped, dirty bread plates on two of the three place sets, exceedingly poor flatware. Manager should see if he can find some upgrades at a local Goodwill. Maybe a dishwasher upgrade could be had, as well. Normally I would not post any thing bad about this place I love it. How ever today was not so good, I got here at about 2:20 placed and order quick then the power when out at about 3. I had not received my food at this point. I then get my food minus my fresh fries, they tell they will be a few minutes. Then I finish my burger and ask what happened with my fries. Hello, Eric. We're sorry you had to deal with the power going out. It's a terrible thing to have to deal with not only as a guest but also as a staff member. Our Fryers are on their own power source, so they do tend to take quite a bit longer to get back up and hot enough to fry things in. My guess is that by the time you were leaving they were finally working again. Again, we apologize you had to deal with that but hope you'll come back to try us again soon.
Went to Maggie's Last night and sat at the bar and ordered a couple rounds and food. Spinach artichoke dip was like a runny soup everything else seemed to be good. The young male bartender with sides of head shaved, please stop wiping your nose, running your hand through your greasy hair and then handle food plates and money. I was happy to be seated quickly on a busy night but that's where the good stuff ended. We ordered fried mozzarella....my friend noted that more than 20 minutes had passed, I asked our server about them and they arrived at our table just a few minutes later. This was a long time for items you throw in a fryer....we found the issue. After going to Maggie's in Southbury last week I am rethinking returning to that location. The wait staff is very nice and attentive. However, when having a long human hair cooked into a sauce I wonder if the cooking staff is practicing proper safety and cleanly measures in the kitchen. The manager was very kind and apologetic removing the meal off our bill and replacing it with another, but in the end, If a person prepping/cooking food has long hair, if in a hairnet, probably wouldn't wind up in customer's food. The worst. Waited 20 min in the bar to be served. 5 servers walked by us without an acknowledgement. Finally spoke to the manager who didnt seem to know what to do. Needless to say we left without eating or drinking. The other two restaurants in middlebury and Brookfield are far superior!!!
