Awning is great everything else was very poor after 3 tries they finally got it installed it is still not right sales person was not very informative and the installers couldn't wait to get out of here it is still not right have called but no one has answered my concerns and if the wind sensor would have been installed right it maybe would not close when you are trying to roll the screen up or down

Business response:

Hi Bill, Glad you love your Marygrove Awning! We’re sorry to hear of the issues you had, however. Our director of operations will be calling you soon to check in and make sure you are satisfied. Take care!

They told us their awning would hold up our extreme wind and it doesn't. We can't use it in winds over 20 mph. It fills up like a hot air balloon and tries to rip out the wind poles. It's very embarrassing when we have guests. Everyone is afraid to sit under it. Check the warranty, it doesn't cover damage from extreme wind. We only use it on wind free days which is not very often. Now we use an $80 sunshade instead of our $4000 Marygrove Awning.

I like the awning but if I had to do it again because our garage isn’t attached to the house I would not. We were told the awning would be attached against the house, it is not against the house there is a 3-4 inch gap so when it rains you get big drops on your head as you unlock your backdoor. It looks nice but if you have to use the door for your main entrance I wouldn’t recommend it. I feel like we waisted $4000.00.

Business response:

Hi Kimberly. We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your awning installation. I have sent your information to our sales manager to see if there is anything else we can do for you.

Was not informed by salesmen that it wud do little, as my deck is on seconed floor, was then advised to buy a skirt which also did little or nothing to help. Wud like to sell skirt. Salesmen admitted He has a second floor Himself but only advice He gave was to buy skirt or move from one side to th other at different times of th day. Am not thrilled wth it.

Wayne King, the President and General Manager here in Houston is a blatant racist... especially against Muslims. If you’re ok with that, do business with them - if not - look somewhere else.

We were told at purchase that it was 3-4 weeks out and we would be installed by the July 4th. Got our call for install and said the best they could do would be July 13.... that is 7-8 weeks from order.....just a little off....

Business response:

Hi Joe, thank you for reaching out. Quality matters to us. Sometimes, we experience delays with manufacturing and we work quickly to deliver the highest quality product in the most timely manner to our customers. We know you want to be out there under the shade of a Marygrove awning and we are doing everything we can to make that happen! Thank you for understanding. -Marygrove owner Mike Falahee

We did like the awning that we purchased from our local supplier and installer, but when it broke because the awning was defective the Vp of operation who I contacted was convinced that it was my fault and that the awnings remote had extended the awning out while in a drawer in 20 mph winds. I mentioned that Mary grove had stated that their awnings were able to handle up to 25-30 mph winds he denied that was ever said or in print. In there website it does state this. I have to believe when he says that the other 25-50 instan... read more
