My visit with Dr Madsen went very well. He was very straightforward about the procedure I will be having done and answered any questions I had professionally and clearly. He seems very serious about his skills as a surgeon and this gave me a sense of confidence in my procedure. It’s not everyday you have back surgery! Dr Madsen also went to bat for me with my insurance company as they had refused to cover my surgery. I really appreciate Dr Madsen doing that for me.
Dr. Madsen was very thorough in explaining the results of my MRI of my lower spine and with the treatments he recommended.

Dr. Madsen was matter of fact in explaining my condition, used copies of the MRI to show what was going on, offerred treatments and explained potential results. He listened to my thoughts and my history, then recommended a treatment plan that met both our needs. The appointment was brief and to the point, which consideration to my wishes.
Short visit but not bc he was in a hurry . very pleased with his bedside manner and how he explained things. No complaints what so ever.
Dr Madsen takes his time to explain things very well
My experience with Dr Madsen has been very positive. He performed my spinal fusion about a month ago. I appreciate his skill as a surgeon and his kind bedside manner. He’s also been more than willing to answer any of my many questions thoroughly, which has eased my anxiety with this process tremendously.
Had surgery to repair bulging disk ar C-4, C-5, & C-6
Waited 30 minutes. First consult. Felt like there was a 10 minute timer going on. Told me my issue but (old age wear basically) and that was it. Left with more questions than answers.
