What a ripoff! I had a cartridge that needed to be replaced in my shower faucet. The technician agreed it was probably a 30 minute job. Then we looked up a price in a big pricing book and told me it would be over $600!!! When I told him that was ridiculous, he looked up another line in his price book and told me he could do it for $485! Totally crazy. They only work by the job, not by the hour. First, I never post anything on Yelp but I felt compelled to in this situation. My bathtub and sink had a backup. I called Mike Council Plumbing. They came out in a timely fashion and their techs were very friendly. They did a complimentary camera of my sewer line and went under the house to examine the plumbing. Was that necessary? Probably not but no harm. They came to my house to give me a quote for fixing my sewer line block. It was a complete waste of time. I called them to get an estimate for my sewer line block. The person on the phone told me a tech would come, use camera scanning and give you an estimate. I had already done camera scanning before. I know some companies charge for it and some don't. Took workers a month to do a two-story four bedroom two bathroom house they repaired. The walls did not paint them and we are currently missing items after they price gauge us a few times.

The company is a total scam! Be aware! Avoid! I called Tuesday morning and someone came within about 1 hour. A friendly guy named Carlos. Carlos requested to go to my basement as he was diagnosing my drain. He came up and said there's gas leaking and asked me to check it out. I can't give a rating low enough. They sent someone to my home without equipment to clear my clogged sink drain. who said he could call to get someone to come with the equipment needed but it would cost $485 and I would have to wait another 3 or 4 hours. Imagine what they might have done to my sink if said ok. Need I say ,,,, beware.

Regrettably, I find myself unable to offer an overwhelmingly positive rating for this company, despite the pleasant swag - notably the green folder - that accompanies every estimate provided by their friendly sales team. While the sales representatives convey information with infectious smiles, their proficiency falters when faced with fundamental consumer queries. I'm sure these guys do really good work. I use them one time several years ago. But since then they've gone to this model where they have a sales guy and a technician in your house. They're very professional, but the pricing is not reasonable. I got three estimates for a job that I needed done. It wasn't that big of a deal replacing a toilet And some.
