These guys are an absolute joke. Not only did try they rip me off, but they literally tried charged me 5x more than the the other 3 quotes I got. The average quote was about $3,000 to get a leaking pipe replaced, Mike Counsil quoted me over $14,000!!!! Turns out it was an easy fix that ended up costing me about $400 when all was done. Besmir is very very good -- not only good at his own job but also willing to cover beyond his responsibility. The handling of scheduling though is insanely poor. I got stood up without being noticed, twice, before I actually got someone at my door. if you want your service at 3pm, tell them you want 11am. Only then will everything be on time.

Ridiculously high priced. I used to love their commercials on the radio so decided to give them a try. What a disappointment. I sent feedback to their management but I guess they were too busy to respond. Beware and shop around before using these guys.

Pricey, $4500, keep shopping before committing. i got the laundry room pipes replaced due to leaks. it's quick, clean job, but need to finish the rotted walls behind the new pipes which was not planned out. May need to hire a good handyman.

Original complaint called into Mike Councils office by my elderly mother was for a slow draining sink. A technician came out inspected the sink and then went under the house. After inspecting under the house the tech told my mom that there was a crack in the sanitation line and the whole sanitary network (sinks and showers) had to be replaced due to one cracked fitting. Can't help but feel I have been cheated by this company. I had a leaking toilet drain pipe, probably had been leaking for some time and was now dripping through the ceiling. The good news was it was over the garage ceiling with easy access to be able to fix it.Two guys showed up, one was an estimator and the other a tech. I was told that I would have to pay $1,500 to cut away the drywall to be able to access the damaged pipe but the $1,500 would be applied to the cost of repair, which if it was a simple repair would be cove... read more

Mike Counsil Plumbing is running a scam. On Wednesday 4/27 our concrete workers accidentally broke a pipe connected to sprinkler lines. We called Mike Counsil Plumbing(MCP) to come fix that pipe as we had to shut water off at the main. I wasn't home so they While there they talked my mother into getting a 12 thousand dollar new water line in place because they saw a leak at the main shut off. Late for appointment. When the guy showed up he tried to upsell me a $6000 water heater install! Very dubious and shady. He even told me that if I got the water heater from Home Depot, I would need to remove the water heater myself and cart it back to Home Depot for warranty work. What a bunch of BS. Avoid this company like the plague!

My shower room had an issue with thermostatic cartridge, I contacted Mike Counsil because a friend's recommendation. A manager and a technician came over. The manager gave me an $1,700 estimation which I thought it was ridiculously high; the manager then came back and claimed the cartridge is a special kind and he needed to talk to his supervisor for a new quote, he came back with $2,600.
