Don was always responsive and accessible. I was concerned that my trade-in would not be fairly valued and that this would make the transaction more complicated. I received a fair offer for my trade and all of my accessories and add-ons were completed in a very timely manner.This was easily the smoothest auto purchase I have ever experienced.
This dealership and staff are different than others we have used in the past. These people are really Mini enthusiasts and there is a genuine enthusiasm and desire to help you get the Mini you want. I could not be happier with my experience. Lance and Vince really made the extra effort to make sure we were making the right buying decision and adding to our excitement with our new Mini!
Overall a very good experience. When test driving the cars I asked Phil about the remote key fob-I asked about using it remotely like other brands of cars I tested (not having to have it inserted) and he affirmed that it worked that way with this brand of car also. However upon delivery of my car, I found out I needed a specific accessory package to have my key fob work that way. I was very disappointed that I didn't have that option. Great place, no pressure sales, knowledgable and informative staff. Our first stop was at the MINI dealer out of Loveland, Colorado and were not very impressed. With the help of Don and team we were very pleased with our purchase and will be returning in the future and recommend to all friends and family here in Cody, Wyoming. The service department is unlike those at any other dealership in their friendliness and willingness to listen to the customer. It sounds cliche, but you are not just another body that comes through the door, but a person with your own concerns and motivations, and the folks at Ralph Schomp treat you as such. Honest answers are given when you pose tough questions, and you never get the sense that you are unwelcome or wasting anyone's time.
Don has been amazing from day 1, January 9, 2011. We went in for a test drive thinking the Countryman was a longshot, and had one ordered by the end of the day. By far this was our most pleasurable car buying experience. Ordering a vehicle specced out as we wanted was refreshing, and Don kept us updated on production and transport all along the way. Phil and Natasha were very knowledgeable and professional. Everyone made us feel welcomed into the Mini family.
The wife's Mini was running rough at idle. Devin Scott scheduled in the car the morning I called (Friday the 18th). He promptly got me a loaner Mini when I told him that I was on call. He kept me informed every step of the way, and told me that the scope conflicted with their diagnosis. He said that they would have to keep the car over the weekend. Purchased a used Cooper S from another dealer. Brought in for service as the BRAKE light wouldn't turn off. Prior dealer had changed pads and sensor, but didn't reset sensor light. Vehicle was looked over in great depth which I appreciate. Great overall service and speed. Communication was great through process. Friendly staff and exceeded our expectations. Great experience! Experienced, professional employees all the way through the process. Did not feel pressured to purchase and took the time to answer our questions. We highly recommend these guys! We love our mini conv. and can't wait to enjoy the summer in it...
