Ralph Schomp MINI and the sales and service staff have been the best that we have ever dealt with, and we have purchased a number of new cars over the years. We highly recommend them to everyone that asks where we acquired our MINI. Our sales representative, Don Bailey, took the utmost care of us through the whole process of our purchase and has stayed with us after the sale.
Unlike most car dealer visits, this was very enjoyable. Everything was very upfront when requested, no extra charges ect. If direct person didnt know the answer, someone who did was brought in to assist. Never once did I feel pressured to purchase a auto. I would without a doubt be more than willing to go back and purchase agian. Of the 4 cars I've purchased in my life from a dealer, this was by far the most relaxed unpressured experience Ive had thus far.
Tyler and the rest of the crew at Ralph Schomp Mini were the mist friendly, helpful, easy going people I've ever dealt with in buying a new car. Since my purchase Tyler has assisted me in buying additional components. I'd recommend Ralph Schomp as your next Mini dealership!
"Took 7 hours to buy a used Mini Hardtop, their salesman..." Took 7 hours to buy a used Mini Hardtop, their salesman lied and delayed, then the car turned out to need $800 in repairs. They refused to work with us, refused all responsibility even though we had it checked within their 2 day window. At this point I've spent nearly 10 hours on the process of TRYING to buy a car from them, and the only thing they made easy is the decision not to return. "I would recommend this dealership because Clay was..." I would recommend this dealership because Clay was friendly and knowledgeable and because of the “no haggle” policy. I would not recommend this dealership due to the “mandatory” credit check needed for each customer in order to purchase any vehicle.
"Run don’t walk away from this dealer" I bought a certified countryman 3 years ago and from day one had to fight this dealership for everything I was promised. Every time I have been to the service department over the 3 year period I have had hassles just trying to get an oil change. I have had a different answer from 10 different people concerning the maintenance schedule, and the coverage paying for it I was promised at purchase. "Considering R.Shomp also owns a Honda dealership, I feel..." Considering R.Shomp also owns a Honda dealership, I feel like they should have been able to offer more for my trade in Honda Civic. Literally 50% of what CarMax was offering me. Obviously had to sell the car to CarMax. The rest of the R.Shomp MINI experience was very good, largely due to Clay Shinkle being the most caring and genuine sales person I have ever met. His persistence in trying to help us lasted at least a month and a half.
"Left unsure" Great response time for online application but I spent 4 hours in dealership that’s with prep work on my end prior. I was told I’d receive a second key within 30 days today is day 45 with no second key or follow up. I was told it was cheaper to pay for my key rack on my own than having them give me keys to an accessory on a certified vehicle.
