My mother has early onset dementia and Alzheimer's. For the past year, we have had nothing but an exceptional experience with this community. Any holiday, there is some sort of a celebration. My mom will call me about what she's doing, and about the friends she has met. When I go and visit, it is always clean, welcoming, and the staff are always there to help. Our experience has been a "5". Very, very friendly and helpful staff...very sweet, calm and reassuring caretakers Food is excellent. Activities are plentiful with high participation - excellent. Currently Mirabella is renovating the hallways, lobby and other various areas and it will look brand new when completed. I am very tough top impressed -- but I am very impressed.

Overall we have been pleased with Mirabella. The food service is not up to par. Residents wait up to 40 minutes for their meals. I actually witnessed it and often the food is cold when they get it. I sent an email ti [name removed] and [name removed] about it, but have received no response from either of them. Other than that everything is really nice.

My mom has been there for nearly two years. Overall the place is a good value for the money and love the staff and[Name Removed], the activities director. They take good care of my mom. The administration is disappointing. It is hard to reach the director and the one time I tried to talk to her about a concern, she never called me back after multiple attempts and only was able to speak to her by tracking her down when in the facility. The staff has been amazing for my mother who has dementia and notified me whenever they feel family needs to be informed. Staff keeps track of medications for her and will check on her regularly. Mom has had nothing but good things to say about her stay and the fun activities they do.

The staff is great to work with and they're always warm and welcoming and easy to have conversations with. My father does not use tech so I can email the concierge front desk and they'll give him a reminder if I'm heading over or going to take him for doctors appointments.

The food offers a good variety, but the posted meal service hours don't seem to be accurate. Residents are often encouraged to arrive early because staff say they may run out of food. If you arrive later, the staff can sometimes be rude. The apartment size is adequate, and the kitchenette meets basic needs. However, the bathroom is very small and would be difficult for someone who uses a walker or wheelchair. The facility is currently being renovated, and the improvements have made it look much better. Food and dining was usually a fiasco; lacking enough cups and glasses, being out of butter for days, some foods too difficult to cut or chew. Food brought to the room often late, cold or forgotten. Aides and med-techs were wonderful! Sadly, there aren't nearly enough of them. Someone might push their call button multiple times and get no help for 45 minutes to an hour!
