Was not worth the effort. Food was not as expected. Very disappointed.
We arrived and it was very difficult to get into the restaurant. There was construction being done with no guidance as to entry. The drinks were fine. The octopus appetizer was fishy and chewy. My girlfriend's steak came out well done when we asked for medium rare. Duck was okay. The place needs new ownership. It's sad.
The pork belly was terrible. The skin was tough and could not be cut even with a steak knife. The cod fish did not taste fresh. I did complain to the manager and the manager talked to the chef and agreed with my observation on pork belly before the cod was served. Saddened to see the quality of restaurant seemed to have deteriorated.
My husband and I and my cousin and her husband decided to go to brunch for New Year’s Day 2023 Please note that Mirabelles was always our favorite restaurant and we were married at the three village years ago. So it was a very special place to us. This last visit to Mirabelles has totally turned us off. I will not go back. We were most disappointed with the service. We were not greeted properly, not once did we hear a servers name or merry Christmas. We were never offered coffee with our dessert and the check showed up on our table.
I wanted to make a reservation for Sunday brunch prior to attending a ballet performance. However, I don’t care for buffets so I checked their website to assure they had an a la carte menu. I saw several items of interest so I made the reservation online through Open Table. I understand it was thanksgiving but the buffet wasn’t worth the price. I also didn’t like having to carry my plates through a busy restaurant and trying to pass by waiting guests.
SHAME ON THE LESSINGS—a Thanksgiving disaster!! An absolutely disgusting display of mismanagement today, Thanksgiving! A 5pm grand buffet reservation turned into a promise of running behind 10-15 minutes by the clueless manager, then at 30 minutes told table ready in a few minutes. I used to love this restaurant when Guy Rouge was the head chef in the kitchen. This visit was less than spectacular. The appetizers were good but the main course was a fail in two of the situations. One person in our party ordered the flat iron steak medium rare. The first one not only came out cold it was also medium well.
