just sort of the run of the mill brunch, very sad - last time we visited our lunch and service was amazing - not this time
Our order got mixed up with the table next to us. People who were seated after us got their food before us. They forgot our appetizer, and it took close to an hour for our entrees to come out of the kitchen. It seemed like everyone except our own waitress came by to see how things were.
food is very salty service bizarre
I have eaten here several times before and it has definitely gone downhill. The premises seem tired and there is a musty smell throughout. We had a party of 4 and were shown to our table , given 3 menus and left . The hostess who promised to return with fourth menu , never did. After sitting there for almost 15 minutes, we had to ask a busboy to find our waitress- who did not apologize when she appeared . They have a prix fixe lunch special but the menu lacks variety and inspiration .The one employee I would like to praise i... read more
We often go to the tavern for lunch and service is usually very slow. They never seem to have their act together, even if they are slow. Last Sat," service" was dreadful. The waiter mumbled badly, no enthusiasm or warmth, there was an overly long wait. The girl who actually served was a bit friendlier. Long wait between courses. Was not asked if we wanted to order another soda or wine. About 20 minutes after we finished the entree, plates were picked up. Another 20 minutes before we were asked if we wanted dessert. All and w... read more
I wanted to enjoy this restaurant . It has been several years since we had last tried it, but unfortunately the service was awful - I could not get the waiters attention for most of our dinner no matter how hard I tried to catch his eye. No one ever came over to check on us. That said the food was mediocre at best. I will not return. The location is lovely but that's it- sadly!
I made reservations at Mirabelle tavern for Valentine's Day. When I arrived at the restaurant for a 5:15 reservation the restaurant had two tables seated and two people at the bar. I was shocked when the hostess brought us to a raised table in the bar area set for 12 people (!) and told us to sit at the end of the empty table. When I told her we did not want sit there, she told us that was the table assigned by Open Table. The tavern manager, Ali,said I should have called the hostess and that the tavern has "a weird relation... read more
We were seated over an hour past our reservation time. Staff consistently told us "a few more minutes" which was simply not true! A very bad way to start off :( Fortuntely, food was very good.
Unfortunately, we remember The Three Village Inn as it once was and now called Mirabelle Tavern. The service was cordial but rushed. The soup was non --descript. The salmon was pan seared but extremely overdone when it was ordered "Medium or take it back". Our dining experience was for lunch Dec. 26, 2012. I would recommend passing on going there for lunch.
