Love this gym! It does get pretty busy so you gotta know what time to go during the day but it has the greatest view to look at while your working out. It's pretty inexpensive and you don't have to sign a contract.

It was great! Yesterday my friend wanted to try out mountainside gym with me. She downloaded a free five day pass and we headed to the gym. We were expecting the usual hassle that she had to meet with a trainer and be walked around. They let her fill out a card and off to workout with me. No hassle that in itself makes my friend want to join. The facility is new, clean and beautiful.

I'm an avid gym goer who visits this club almost every day at various times throughout the week. I've been a member since they opened earlier this year and I'm here writing this review after my voice has gone unheard by 4 members of the staff including a manager. Overall the club has a tremendous view and brand new equipment so what's not to like? Staff is amazing... always energetic and absolutely wonderful attitudes. The gym is smaller than other locations but I still love it here.. never too busy or uncomfortable. I also wish the childcare is bigger .. however, all in all 5 stars!

Nice gym in a great location but the child care area sucks. Working out midmorning or in the evening is fine but mornings and after work is over crowed. They don't have enough cardio equipment or workout space to accommodate the number of members using the gym at peak times. The water fountains are turned down so low you have to suck the water out and the prices of their smoothies is ridiculous. The kids who work there are rude and flippant. I expected more from mountainside fitness. I am cancelling my membership.

Not too big, not too small. There's always open equipment, especially if you go before 4pm. Everything is new, modern, and clean. The staff are very nice, and the ladies in the childcare are awesome. My 1 year old loves going in and playing with them. The childcare is fairly quiet. The most kids I've seen in there is 5 or 6 kids on a Saturday, but most times there's only one other child.

I've been a member at mountainside for 2 years now and have to admit this club is by far my favorite not only because the view of tempe town lake is absolutely amazing but their machines are hoist making my workouts 100x better. Every time I walk in the staff greets me always accommodating to whatever I need. I live in North Scottsdale and could go to closer clubs but would rather drive the extra 20 minutes to workout at the Tempe location!

I joined this gym when it first opened and some of the complaints I've heard have been with how small it is. I've never had to wait on equipment and they aren't missing anything that I'd want to use. I maybe going at a slow time of day to accomplish this but I've been a happy member ever since I've joined. They have great protein smoothies (I like the berrylicious) for a post-workout fill up that don't break the bank just wish they had some nutritional facts on them. Absolutely love this gym! Everyone is so friendly and the fitness manager is definitely there to help and provide results! It's two floors and both floors have a great view of Tempe town lake! Plus the spin classes are great!!! Highly recommend checking it out!
