I signed up for the 18 month plan and it costed 79$ I enjoyed working out there for a little but I'd rather workout at home. They said it would be 79 to cancel at any point too. But when I wanted to cancel they wanted me to pay 333$. Or move 51 miles away from any mountainside fitness. More then an hour away from any place. A d 31 miles is 45 mins. I want to start by saying that if my review was simply for the gym/training aspect, this location would get 5 stars. Their trainers are great and equipment is well kept. But as a mother, if I could rate the childcare 0 stars, I would. I chose to start my membership at Mountainside because of the way they up-talked their childcare. More than once, I picked up my infant in hysterics without anyone coming to get me. Not acceptable. We love everything about this facility. It's clean...an awesome variety of equipment...great kids area!
This facility is new so all of the equipment is state of the art and in good working order. It is very clean. The amenities such as the sauna and steam rooms are nice touches. The aerobic equipment is plentiful - treadmills, ellipticals and bikes. They have personal televisions with basic cable channels. There is a lot of strength training equipment and I must admit, some of it is a little intimidating. I haven't tried any of the classes but there seems to be a nice variety. The showers are nice.
