I've been meaning to write a review for a LONG time, when I was a member and before I cancelled my membership I spoke with staff and managers several times about the obvious issues without change. I wanted so much to remain as a customer, the location is perfect for me and enjoyed the classes... didn't love the floor area with machines and free weights, often crowded. Anyhow, my biggest issue was cleanliness. I joined shortly after they opened it was clean, new, fresh, I was excited. As time went on I started seeing dirty b... read more

I recently made the switch to Mountainside fitness from another local gym and I am so glad I did! Such a clean environment, never crowded, the staff is so helpful and the classes are great! 5 stars!!!

I have been a member for years. As a health care worker who doesn't want to expose the public to any possible asymptomatic covid while working out (or using the sauna...how do you social distance that?) I asked if I could cancel my membership by phone or email. They Facebook messaged me back and forth telling me how I needed to send a certified letter to cancel or come in. I chose to go in for the sake of time and the postage cost. None of the employees were wearing masks. I told them I wouldn't be back due to this lack of c... read more

Super clean and very nice. The workers are super friendly but not a great use of space for weight lifting. Not many options if you're into power lifting.

My experience with Mountain Side Fitness has been outstanding. I am a diabetic and since I came back to to the gym in December of 2018, I have lost 27 pounds and all my numbers in relation to diabetes are spectacular. I had a personal trainer Christy who pushed and encouraged me to better myself in a healthy way. I love the Queen Creek gym and the entire staff is so friendly. I have nothing but praise for the staff, and the gym, as they offer so much to attain your goals and tools to maintain a healthy lifestyle. As they say... read more

This is the only gym I know of that rewards your loyalty by charging you an annual fee of $35. I trained there for two years and just realized they were charging this bullshit fee. When I went to cancel my membership they then informed me that I need to come in and sign my cancellation notice. If you can deal with a company trying to nickel and dime you with silly fees and an array of hoops you need to jump through to cancel your membership, this is the place for you. I prefer a gym with straight forward business practices a... read more

I pay a good amount to come to this gym. And most days the music doesn't even work. Even with headphones I can hear people grunting because there's no other background music. And takes a while to get equipment fixed when broken. And they need to get rid of the basketball court that maybe only a few people use and they can utilize that for more equipment. And they need to be better at cleaning the equipment. I got a staph infection from the smith machine bar a few months ago.

What happened to this location? I wrote a review about a year ago, and this was by far the best gym I have been to. Lately, both my wife and I have seen towels are stacked to the top with the dirty towels. Service has not been great, as far as trying to catch the attention to grab a smoothie from the shake bar. I have never had a problem like this. My wife and I were stretching by the wall closest to the shake bar and one of the young female sales employee stood up from her desk and went into the bar and I overheard talking ... read more

I went to Asanta's cycle class this morning after seeing how packed it was last week. I now know why her class is full (I've never been to a class that's completely full before). She has good music and really pushes you to go hard. I loved her energy as well! I've also been to Phillip's spin class which I enjoy as well. His classes always leave me sore. I like that this gym is a bit smaller and not as crowded as other locations.
