Super equipped, very friendly staff , good amenities , cleanliness, numerous locations ambiance.
WATCH OUT: I cancelled my membership, haven't been there in over four months then randomly I got a charge for $40. I call corporate membership services and they told me that my account randomly got activated again. I'm not sure how that happens especially if a customer hasn't been in that gym in over four months. I am convinced they are stealing money from past customers. Make sure you check your bank statements every so often if you do decide to cancel. Friendly staff, great yoga classes, good amount of equipment, very clean, good location with plenty of parking. I love that my membership allows me access to all Mountainside Fitness locations.
I love my Mountainside Fitness peeps! I travel all over the valley and am so happy for a good selection of locations to choose from. The locker rooms get used extensively and I appreciate their turn on clean towels always being available. Plus, a pre-shower sauna or steam always feels so nurturing after a workout or class. I'm a decade-long fan!

Mountainside is the best gym value in AZ, and I'm a 40 year workout guy, so I've seen them all. Yes you can spend $250-$400/mo at other gyms and have them hold your hand while you workout, and you'd get good results, but if you have enough discipline to count your own sit-ups and work hard enough on your own, then Mountainside will save you hundreds per month. I visited Mountainside on a 5-Day pass...going in I wasn't sure what to expect from a gym as far as childcare. As a mom, that's the most important aspect. I was blown away!!! They are so welcoming, reassuring, and kind. The ladies working there (Ms Rebecca and Ms Hannah) made my kids feel right at home and they didn't want to leave. Couldn't ask for more!!
