good space, a lot of free weights and clean locker rooms. fixed weight machines could be better but get the job done. plenty of cardio machines of all kinds
Love Mountainside. Been coming here for mor than 10 years. We use the Mkids all the time!
The group fitness classes here are great. Lots of selection and variety of workouts. Smoothies are also top tier
I hate writing a bad review but I was shocked by how dirty this gym was. The floors in the fitness studios were covered in grime, looking like they are never cleaned. Please invest in a professional floor cleaning machine. Hundreds of people per week are using these studios and many of the workouts require us to be on the ground with our hands and faces close to the ground as well. The condition of the studio made for a very uncomfortable and gross feeling workout.
The general manager is incompetent and so is the rest of the staff. Terrible customer service and censors freedom of speech by kicking people out. I've had multiple situations in which we're handled poorly and I've had enough. The general manager is sexist and I will not go back and support this company anymore. I think it's funny that they over charge for gym fees and expect clients to stay after they treat them poorly. They are worse than planet fitness.

I love this gym! If you live in Phoenix DO NOT join another gym. You need to come down to your local mountainside fitness. Great facilities very reasonably priced.
great atmosphere and plenty of equipment. the place is clean and very welcoming with convenient hours for morning or evening workouts
Meeting my cardio goals so much quicker now that I'm at mountainside! Such an easy setup process and worth the low cost each month!
