This gym is nice with lots of amenities. They keep it very clean amd have new well functioning equiptment. However the price is a little steep.
Business response:
Brittney, thank you for taking the time to review our Surprise club. Mountainside Fitness offers over 80 class per week, state-of-the-art equipment on the weight floor and our cardio machines with personal entertainment systems, on-site childcare with lots of options for the kids to play, towel service, fitness tracking capabilities, and more. We understand there are alternatives at different price points, however we believe you are worth a worry free and hassle free workout at a reasonable price. We appreciate you choosi... read more
I love to work out in Mountainside. The place makes me feel like I'm working out at home. I like how when you enter, you get a towel.
I'm giving this gym 4 stars because the classes are great, trainers are awesome, I don't use the daycare but I heard it's really good, and the front desk staff is always friendly. Where it loses a star is management. The manager always seems to be doing, well.....not much and she is very rude. If you go to her with any complaints, she basically turns the other way. I have literally seen her making fun of a member with my own eyes. A change in management would make this an awesome place.
Business response:
Sandy, thank you for taking the time to review our Surprise location, we are glad to hear you are taking advantage of all Mountainside Fitness has to offer. We are sorry to hear you have had a negative experience with our manager. We are very happy with the our management team at Surprise and we stand by our employees and team there. If there is a specific incident you would like to tell us more about, please do DM me or call our offices to speak with our COO Mario Arce. This is a great gym for an active family, my kids love to go and the staff in the child care really take a genuine interest in them. The equipment is clean and the variety is great. I workout at different times of the day and 5-7pm can be a little crowded but any other time I never wait for workouts. My wife loves the wide array of classes offered and the staff is always friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a place to start working out this is a gym that will welcome you and not make you feel uncomfortable.
Business response:

If you ever have any questions, comments or concerns, please see our General Manager, Jenny, as she would be more than happy to listen. Thanks for being a member.
Clean, great location, good variety of machines. Staff generally pretty good, although there are a few that are gossipy and "cold".
Been a member for well over 2 years, the staff is very Friendly, management does a fantastic job of keeping things in order and tidy. Great Child care area and rock climbing area for the kids. Weight floor is always well kept and maintained very well. No complaints. 10/10 would recommend as a daily gym.
I been going to this gym for a year its all around great gym. No complains here. Only thing I don't like is there only one basketball court so i cant practice but whatever its a gym I'm trying to get big.
i have spent an hour waiting for someone to sign up membership. not a good look for the business.
Mountain Side is a scam of a company. We moved out of the country and followed the states guidelines for cancelling a membership. They called and harrased us for months...FOR A GYM MEMBERSHIP. After they agreed to follow the state law for membership cancellations to end predatory practices they then sent it to a law firm.... NEVER USE THIS GYM!! They will SCAM you.
