This is a great gym for an active family, my kids love to go and the staff in the child care really take a genuine interest in them. The equipment is clean and the variety is great. I workout at different times of the day and 5-7pm can be a little crowded but any other time I never wait for workouts. My wife loves the wide array of classes offered and the staff is always friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a place to start working out this is a gym that will welcome you and not make you feel uncomfortable.

Clean, great location, good variety of machines. Staff generally pretty good, although there are a few that are gossipy and "cold".

Been a member for well over 2 years, the staff is very Friendly, management does a fantastic job of keeping things in order and tidy. Great Child care area and rock climbing area for the kids. Weight floor is always well kept and maintained very well. No complaints. 10/10 would recommend as a daily gym.

I been going to this gym for a year its all around great gym. No complains here. Only thing I don't like is there only one basketball court so i cant practice but whatever its a gym I'm trying to get big.

The Gym is nice, has a lot going for it with the classes and and the Basketball court. Sometimes it impossible to shoot the ball around due to all the kids playing full court games. I like the Idea of children being able to work out WITH their parents but I don't like the kids running and jumping over equipment, using it improperly and Hogging the machines. Absolutely unacceptable experience at Mountainside Fitness (Surprise - Bell Rd). I came in for a 5-day pass that they called me about. I brought multiple forms of ID, including my California driver's license, my Arizona driver's license, and even my home deed to prove I'm a resident. Despite all of that, Larissa at the front desk kept pushing back, saying I "might" be able to get the pass, then changing her stance repeatedly. Please do not respond by asking me to call a phone number. I have already spoken directly with corporate, including a representative named Jamie. Whom offered no solution. During the conversation, they asked what I felt would be a fair resolution; after I explained my expectations, no decision was made simply said they would call me back. Without acknowledging any wrongdoing or resolving the issue, I was asked to remove my negative google review. It was my first time trying out this gym with a free trial, and I had a really uncomfortable experience. The AGM, Courtney, completely ignored me after acknowledging the white girl ahead of me. When it was my turn, she looked at me with a dirty expression and acted like I wasn't even there. When I finally asked a question, she responded with an attitude instead of the professionalism I expected.
