We've taken all of our kitty babies to Mt. Diablo. Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Fan and Dr. Tam are thorough and knowledgeable, addressing all of our concerns. The vet technician, Logan, is the best! She is always calm and professional. Alison and the rest of the staff are friendly and kind. We trust Mt. Diablo and absolutely recommend establishing primary care for your fur babies here.

I'm updating my review from 4 stars to 5 stars. In my previous review, I had some constructive criticism of the front desk. There are newish staff at the front desk who are great. Dr. Fan is a wonderful and fantastic vet. I highly recommend her to anyone!

My dogs ears were infected I'm traveling I grew up here and I have to say that these people went out of their way to accommodate me and my dog and I am just so impressed with her kindness and their ability and willingness to help. My dog is no longer in pain he has medication for his ears and I'm on my way to Carmel I'll because they made time to help my dog and me outstanding medical care!

Pros of Mt. Diablo Veterinary: + Dr. Fan is amazing. She is not only knowledgeable, she is very caring and empathetic. My experience with Mt. Diablo continues to be one of the best ever in the 10+ years of caring for my dog, which has spanned 4 cities and 9 vets. The staff is attentive, understanding, pleasant while efficiently no nonsense. Dr. Hagler is such a gem. We have been seeing Dr Fan since we moved to the area 3 years ago. We had a sick dog and they worked us in last minute on a Saturday - something no one else we called was willing to do. We have both cats and a dog and they have all seen Dr fan over the years. We have never been disappointed with the treatment our animals have received and I have been touched by the compassion and kindness of the entire staff. So glad that we found this vet! We have three beloved pups, and Mt. Diablo takes excellent care of them. Their pricing is fair and affordable compared with other vets in the area, and they were quick to schedule our puppy for the next day when we expressed concern over a rash on her paw. We feel that our puppies are safe and secure with them, and their customer service is great. Thank you so much for taking good care of Jubilee, Benny, and Polly!

I'm on vacation with my dogs and one of them tried to fly off a wall and severely damaged his front right leg! I called several vet hospitals to get an urgent appointment but all of them were too busy to see my Gus Bus! But when I called Mt. Diablo Vet and spoke to Marilyn and told her what happened she said bring him in and we will find time to see him. We can't have him in pain! Why MDVMC is the best in the area: 1. Complete respect for my financial situation.
