I have been taking my dogs here for 6 years. Dr. Fan always takes the time to thoroughly explain things and really cares for the pups.
I've been taking my dog here for almost 6 yrs and as a first time dog owner, was generally pleased with the experience. But there's one receptionist that always gives off snooty vibes that I always just tolerated. But when we were about to do a surgery on my baby recently, her attitude when I asked questions in no way helped me feel at ease about the whole procedure, and then, on top of that, they last minute tried to add on another $350 cost. Not a good look.
I received a very nice call from Jamie in the Dr's office and was able to understand a little better why is was hard to get an appointment. This is the kind of response I had been used to with the office and I'm glad she was able to restore my faith in the practice going forward.

We've taken all of our kitty babies to Mt. Diablo. Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Fan and Dr. Tam are thorough and knowledgeable, addressing all of our concerns. The vet technician, Logan, is the best! She is always calm and professional. Alison and the rest of the staff are friendly and kind. We trust Mt. Diablo and absolutely recommend establishing primary care for your fur babies here.

I'm updating my review from 4 stars to 5 stars. In my previous review, I had some constructive criticism of the front desk. There are newish staff at the front desk who are great. Dr. Fan is a wonderful and fantastic vet. I highly recommend her to anyone!

My dogs ears were infected I'm traveling I grew up here and I have to say that these people went out of their way to accommodate me and my dog and I am just so impressed with her kindness and their ability and willingness to help. My dog is no longer in pain he has medication for his ears and I'm on my way to Carmel I'll because they made time to help my dog and me outstanding medical care!
