I'm somewhat new to Mt Diablo Vet Med Center. I had been with my previous vet for 10 years. I loved my vet but he was never available. The waiting room was total bedlam. Mt. Diablo has a calm quiet wait area and my dog and I are immediately put in a private triage room. Dr. Fan is amazing. Great with my dog and interested in my concerns. It's a wonderful place to take your pet. I love it!

The entire staff at Mt. Diablo veterinary is exceptional. They've taken such great care of our dog and cats and it's evident they treat our pets as if they were their own. Dr. Fan specifically has been so wonderful to our pets and we're also happy to have Dr. Hagler's expertise when she's unavailable. Highly recommended for any furry friends.
Recommend this clinic highly. Everyone is friendly, empathetic and knowledgeable.
This place was awesome in their treatment and professionalism in how they treated my little baby chihuahua. Well, he's like 12 or so years old but I still call him my baby. He was having issues that were previously new to him and was extremely sensitive around his stomach area. It was a sudden reaction to something I had no idea what. We were in town visiting my in-laws when our pup walked in from the backyard with swollen shut eyes. We called early in the morning and they were able to fit us in almost immediately. Considering our lack of appointment, our wait time was VERY short, we were seated in a private room as soon as we arrived. The staff were all positive, happy and helpful. We have been going to Mt Diablo vet for 13 years. Our animals have received the best possible care. Dr Hagler was very compassionate and helped us through the loss of our first dog. I strongly recommend this clinic.
These guys are so GREAT! I took my very itchy dog over to see Dr. Phan and he is cured just a few days later after an exam and some meds. I really love their approach to not having the owner in the room. I started coming here by recommendation after I was told by Broadway Pet Hospital in Oakland that I needed to trim my own dog's nails (when I brought him in for a nearly ingrown nail). Thank you Mt. Diablo for handling business like professionals on my first visit. Worth the extra drive to Lafayette!
