This place was awesome in their treatment and professionalism in how they treated my little baby chihuahua. Well, he's like 12 or so years old but I still call him my baby. He was having issues that were previously new to him and was extremely sensitive around his stomach area. It was a sudden reaction to something I had no idea what. We were in town visiting my in-laws when our pup walked in from the backyard with swollen shut eyes. We called early in the morning and they were able to fit us in almost immediately. Considering our lack of appointment, our wait time was VERY short, we were seated in a private room as soon as we arrived. The staff were all positive, happy and helpful. We have been going to Mt Diablo vet for 13 years. Our animals have received the best possible care. Dr Hagler was very compassionate and helped us through the loss of our first dog. I strongly recommend this clinic.

These guys are so GREAT! I took my very itchy dog over to see Dr. Phan and he is cured just a few days later after an exam and some meds. I really love their approach to not having the owner in the room. I started coming here by recommendation after I was told by Broadway Pet Hospital in Oakland that I needed to trim my own dog's nails (when I brought him in for a nearly ingrown nail). Thank you Mt. Diablo for handling business like professionals on my first visit. Worth the extra drive to Lafayette!

Go! Take your "littlest family member" or members here for all your veterinary needs. The staff are friendly, the doctors and techs are knowledgeable, and they are HONEST and SINCERE!! Love them. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

We are new pet owners to a kitty and were very scared when she started choking/lurching/coughing and seemed hard for her to breathe. It sounded like a croupy bark a kid would make and definitely was not hairball. I called Mt. Diablo and they told me to come in right away. I was able to drop her off with ease-zero hassles! Dr. Tutko met with us after she diagnosed our kitty with asthma. She went over the X-rays, explained what to do and helped show us the easiest way to administer her meds. Easy to set appointments and the drop-off option is wonderful if you have a work situation /appointment you can't miss. Vets are very knowledgable and explained my cat's situation in Layman's terms. They also seemed to know my cat well and understand his personality. Very great experience.

I seriously miss this place! I moved from CA and still feel I haven't been able to find any place nearly as good as this one. I loved my vet, she was always caring and expressed concern for each of my pets well being. She always called after an apt and would go over every detail of the work done and lab results. Truly great service, thank you!!
