If you're looking for top-notch veterinary care, this is the place. The staff is friendly and welcoming (even when your beloved pet doesn't love doctor's visits!), takes the time to explain things clearly and are compassionate in difficult times; their level of service is truly A+. I've taken my cat to Dr. Hagler for almost 15 years and I simply wouldn't trust anyone other than MDVMC-they are the very best.
Dr. Hagler and his entire team are awesome!! He really saved our dog's life and they took really good care of her because she had to stay overnight with them post-surgery. Dr.Hagler really cares about the animals and you can trust your pet to be in good hands.
Very happy with the hospitality i've been given during my visit. I brought my dog in to get fixed and the instant I walked in I was greeted by Deb, the sweet front desk lady. I filled out some paper work and sat down and waited to be seated. Just glancing around, you can tell the facility is thoroughly cleaned. Not too long after I got in, Diego was called in for surgery. I can not say enough of how thankful I am to Dr. Hagler, Melissa and the whole staff. I have always enjoyed bringing our dog here for the last seven years. But today, I brought in our eight month old guniea pig Luna. She became suddenly ill and they squeezed her in so Dr. Hagler could see her. Dr. Hagler took his time to explain what he felt was going on. He was able to tell me immediately that she was in bad shape and was not hopeful for a good outcome. Been taking my small dog here for years and they always know his name and are very welcoming. Dr. Fan is very professional and very knowledgeable (pay no attention that angry person who wrote in all caps, she is very nice and professional!!). Debbie at the front desk is always great and knows my voice when I call. They are a great office and very reasonably priced compared to my last vet, who seem to over charge for everything. We want to thank the Veterinary at Mt. Diablo Veterinary- we had a unexpected call to the Veterinary office around 4:00pm on a Friday afternoon on a 3 day weekend and they were able to get is in. Our dog got stung on bit by a bug and needed treatments
We have used this vet service for over 30 years with 3 different dogs. I am very happy with the level of expertise from the doctors and their compassionate behavior with the dogs and us. I highly recommend this vet!
We have been using Mt Diablo Vet for our pets for many years, maybe even close to 25 or 30 years. We just lost our precious Riley yesterday. The care and concern for her by the vet and the staff at this time was remarkable and so appreciated. We felt so well take care of during this very sad time. So hard to lose a special pet. They are always available in so many ways. Thank you to all.
The front office staff is friendly and caring. When I've had an emergency with a pet, they always tell me to bring them in and they will work on them, even though I have not made an appointment. They know my name and the pet's name, even if it has been six months since they have seen us. The doctors are very knowledgeable and thorough. They call me with updates if I have to leave the pet there, and always give me an idea of what tests and treatments might cost. They treat the pets as if they were theirs.
