I received a very nice head massage for lice treatment from a nurse. 10/10 would do again.
i dont know why the reviews are terrible, but i love this place. i decided to admit myself in because i was having alot of anxiety so i told my guardian and the staff i was suicidal, and they admitted me in. obviously im a minor so i went to the adolescent side. the second i walked in a group of people greeted me and i had a whole friend group there. the staff was nice and treated us like our friends and not patients, the food was great, i made so many new friends. and i came out of here with so much sympathy for people. it ... read more
Review for Residents & The Most understanding Staff Members (in my opinion) The group "other Residents" ( I talked with) were really understanding with where I was coming from. Very scared/confused... I'm very bummed that I forgot to leave this note for Tim (one of the Techs) (pictured below) if this could get to him , somehow.. would appreciate that! Janice (An Evening Nurse) I saw multiple times, was the other Staff member that I felt comfortable turning to without being pushed away.
Nurse Kyra in the adolescence unit went above and BEYOND to make sure her patients had what they needed and made sure they were comfortable. She made a lasting impact on my life personally and I know many patients also agree with me. She is extremely personable and helpful. Most of the day staff was rude and off putting but Ms. Kyra was the most genuine and helpful person I had the pleasure of meeting, even in undesirable circumstances. She truly has a heart of gold and I aspire to be more like her.
You really need to advocate for yourself if you come here. The weekend was rough but once I got through to the people in charge things got alot easier. They finally paid attention to me and attended to my needs. Weekday staff was great. Pretty affordable with good insurance. I would come back if I had too.
This place was amazing I was admitted when I attempted and I was in the adolescent child side I had an amazing stay I loved all the nurses and techs I lived it there met so many amazing people and when I would feel suicidal i would go up to them and tell them and they helped me threw it and I never felt alone in there because we all had similar issues and this place helped a lot
My dad is currently being treated there. The therapy side, no complaints, the nursing side.... The lack of attentiveness which may be a staffing issue but patients need to be treated with care and in a timely manner.
Can't say enough good things about the facility or staff. Spent several days there in August 2020 and it was time well spent!!!!!!
My mother was sent to Trustpoint for rehab following a fall, which was recommended by Vanderbilt. She was there one week and received therapy 3 hrs a day and a daily visit from a physician. The staff was very helpful and nice. The only complaint was the food. Not a lot of options or flavor. Overall, it was a very good experience.
