Close to transportation, friendly staff.\n\nDidnt notice a bar, but didn't look too hard either.\n\nEnded up with an upgraded room, and was very pleased. Very easy to find, and located in a more quiet area considering how close it is to 42nd street.
Location, location, location, and bellhop.\n\nDecor was very outdated.
Large light filled suite that was like coming home after a day walking in the city.\n\nNoisy elelvator near our room\n\nPerfect play to stay - lots of room for the money and great location. We were upgraded to a larger room which was really wonderful.
Location, location, location and pleasant stay.\n\nNeeds minor spruce up. Rugs in the room were a little tired, but it was certainly acceptable.\n\nGreat location, friendly staff, nice clientèle, and extremely convenient location. I did not use the kitchen, but for the price this is ideal.

The kitchenette was a convenient feature; also, Grand Central Station is 3 blocks away.\n\nI was pleasantly surprised as to the caliber of the accommodation.
Large rooms, great, quiet location near Grand Central Station - got more than I was expecting!\n\nSlightly out dated, but comfortable - no wifi in rooms.
The rooms were surprisingly large. The kitchenette was very helpful for traveling with kids.\n\nThe staff hung up on me several times when I called to request a specific bed size.
Walking distance to major attractions.\n\nPillows were kinda stinky.
