Traveled with with a friend and stayed for three nights. Pretty decent location, close walk to the 42/grand central station, so was easy to get around. First impression, suite is huge!! Very pleasant stay My experience may be somewhat atypical because I received an upgrade to a suite. It was absolutely huge, particularly for New York. The hallway smelled of smoke, but the room was ok. The bed was fairly comfortable. The price was quite good. I did not expect much of a two-star hotel so this place certainly exceeded my expectations. the hotel certainly displayed no trace of luxury but as far as modest accommodations go, it was very good. Pros + Price, Large Rooms Cons - Not luxurious
New York Treasure I was pleasantly surprised by the size and cleanliness of the rooms and entire building. The location coundn't be better. There is also a small workout room which leads to a patio on the ground level. The staff were friendly and helpful. I look forward to a return trip. I have stayed other places that were more expensive but this can't be beat. Please don't come here as I want to keep this a secret! Pros + location, size, price
A Gem! What a steal! This hotel is in a prime location just a couple of blocks from Grand Central Station, the Chrysler Building, and tons of fabulous restaurants and attractions. We couldnt believe the size of the rooms or the full kitchens full size refrigerator, stove, utensils, etc. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless, and the views were gorgeous.
