Tried boarding with them because they were close to where I lived. Within 12 hours my dog was vomiting and had diarrhea. When I spoke to the vet about standard of care she was defensive and unprofessional. Not sure if she was a vet. Do not trust your pets to this place.
I took two cats here for a spay and a neuter. My male cat came back with no pain medication and developed a sinus infection after visiting this office. My female cat was taken in 2 weeks later. I took her on a day where a vet walked out on the job, which threw their schedule off. I called that afternoon to arrange picking her up but they told me they had to delay her operation and would have to keep her overnight. Zero stars!! Staff is more concerned about bringing in potluck dishes, armfuls of coffee drinks and personal mail packages to send out, than the parking lot FULL of people dropping off pets. They may OR MAY NOT get to your surgery on the appointment date. Rude/Negligent staff and Egotistical vets make for a really bad experience. When they brought my animal out, my cat was very stressed and even defocated on the vet tech. Never bring your pets here. They sent out an email and told us that they had an outbreak of kennel cough. Our pet went for his bortatella shot however he still contracted it and when we brought him back a few days later they tried to charge over 300$ when it was there outbreak in the first place. Never come here. However dr Butchko in riverside is a 10/10 and way cheaper prices
Brought my puppy here for a regular check up and they tried to sell me on insurance (which is a rip off). They recommended another round of vaccines, which the puppy just got 2 weeks prior. The pup probably didn't need that vaccine, but of course they wanted to increase their profits. Told us we had to go back for a booster shot only . But now they're forcing us to do another vet check on a perfectly healthly puppy, just 3 weeks later. Keep in mind the vet charges $60 to look at your pup for less than 5 minutes. We boarded our dog at their facility last Friday, October 16 through Monday the 18th. A few days later our dog gets "kennel cough", and starts spitting up foamy vomit. Our dog was not sick before we brought her in. She's a healthy, indoor dog who doesn't have exposure to other dogs. She got this disease from Murrieta Oaks Veterinary, and this is the 3rd time this has happened! Since this occasion was so much more severe, I called for a remedy. Misdiagnosed our dog and then brought him out after he had to wear a head bandage for 10 days without even cleaning him up!! He stunk so bad. I spent 10 minutes with baby wipes cleaning him up before putting him back in the car. Horrible service.
WORST VET IN MURRIETA ThEy are refusing to fill my dogs next guard prescription until he is seen for his annual appointment which wouldnt be a problem except for the soonest appointment they could give me is in 6 weeks. instead of approving my dogs prescription like any good veterinarian would do this vet clinic is choosing to refuse my dogs flea treatment until it is convenient for them to see him. This is a hard review for me to write since my family and I are devastated. We absolutely loved Dr. K and I absolutely don't want to bash her in anyway, but for the last 2 years we have drove our 2 Siberian Huskies from Oceanside to Murrieta because we loved Dr. K.
