New New review - They think my oldest dog has congestive heart failure. She got her radiograph 2 days ago and I was told I would be called with my results after 18 hours. 18 hours was yesterday morning. I called in At 3 PM, right around the 24 hour mark. I was told the doctor was not available but they would definitely call me them before 6 PM they would definitely call him at 4:06 PM. I called at 5:30 PM to check and every single doctor have gone home for the day. By this point I'm absolutely fuming because I did not pay f... read more
We boarded our pup for a week & he's limping on his 2nd day. They couldn't tell me what really happened. Vet-supervised boarding but charged us a $60 exam fee for observing my pup only. The receptionist I talked to said that I should have disclosed my pup's limping issues and has to be checked by the vet. I know my pup is very playful and active, he does that at home and I know I said that he "fakes-limp" one time or twice at home when he played (she made my term "fake-limp" a loophole) but what should I have disclosed when ... read more
I completely understand that Covid has caused chaos. However, I booked an appt as a new customer 5 weeks agi. I received a text stating that I would be charged $25 if I was more than min late or a no show. I arrived 10 min. Early. I took off work early to be there. I waited for 40 minutes in my car with my dog before I was checked in for my appt (I had to call to remind them that I was still in the parking lot). I know things happen. I know appts run long. I get it. But call me, apologize, come to the car and greet me, do so... read more
We sent 3 dogs (2 English Bulldogs and a Chiweenie) in for shots and only got 2 back alive (lost 1 English Bulldog). We've gotten no coherent explanation about what led up to our dogs' death except she was excited and an English Bulldog. We were charged for our other two dogs just being dropped off there, as they did not even receive their shots. We spoke with the director who not only lacked professionalism, but had absolutely no sense of compassion. She asked us to understand their oversight in not giving our dogs shots be... read more
If I could give zero stars I completely would. I've never experienced so much unorganization before in having someone board our dogs. When I went to drop them off, I was told I needed to "call before" and let them know I was dropping them off (never mentioned in any of the emails or phone conversations) and then I was told I would have to pay for a "mandatory flu vaccine" for my two dogs. When we went to pick them up, we were charged for the day because we didn't pick them up before 9am (again, never mentioned at time of dro... read more
I had my dog in to aspirate 3 masses they didn't check them cuz I had my doubt som I came home and shaved the area of all 3 and there was no spot where they stuck any of them . they charged me 168.75 to aspirate them and then 118.50 to do the in house cytology how can you anilise something you didn't stick to begin with ? And right off the bat as soon as they got me in the room they said my dog needed 1,000 worth dental work ,I have been told by my other vet his teeth are perfict .DON'T GO NEER THIS PLACE THEY ARE MONEY HUNG... read more
After years here with another pet, I'm moving on. I have been rehabbing a fearful aggressive 14 lb dog for two years - slow because of the pandemic. In the last year, she's seen about 12 providers because she is epileptic. So far, no bites. Then came an unlucky vet tech at Murr Oaks. I gave her static on the phone for a wait, aaaaand she gave it right back. So there was stress. My dog was super-amped. I think we were both trying to muzzle, which was chaotic, and my dog bit her. I felt so bad for this, but definitely got trea... read more
3rd Update: They finally called me on April 5th to say I can pay the balance of the PAW Plan and that communication is a 2 way "streak" (I told her, i think it's "street"...lol). Anyway, Here's the bill(s) so you can be the judge of this place: NOW, remember, all i brought Wilson in for is a limp in his right front leg. they said I needed to do all this to check if he could take medication they wanted to prescribe. but, he had cavities and they also wanted to extract some teeth which is why they signed me up for PAW Plan... read more
The staff at Murrieta Oaks is very nice, and if you don't mind being totally ripped off if you have to buy medication from them then this is the place for you! I personally won't be going here ever again. Their prices for medication's are extremely out of line. Murrieta Oaks charged me $120 for medication that Walmart pet RX charges $53.62 for. These are the same exact meds folks! I even could've paid $20 extra bucks and Walmart would've shipped them to me with overnight delivery. Even then I still would've saved $50. I'm so... read more
