We did not have a good experience with this facility. They removed the director that was there at the time so things may have changed, but it was a scary experience.

Business response:

Thank you for your review. We take each and every review very seriously and apologize for not meeting your expectations. Please be aware it would not be appropriate to share any personal specific details regarding our residents, families and employee situations in this forum, however we do strive to deliver quality care 100% of the time. There is nothing good I have to say about this place. Home Health found our loved one in his room and called us to say he was not being taken care of. He had no water, no cup for water. He ended up in the hospital for dehydration. He also fell and cut himself. We were not notified until 2-3 days later, and only then was he taken to get stitches. I just do not understand that. We immediately removed him from the situation.

Business response:

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear this and want to be clear that the experience you describe is definitely not the standard Mustang Creek Estates is known for. We have provided high quality care for our Residents since 2005 and we take great pride in the peace of mind we give our families. It truly pains us to hear we have disappointed even one of those families and we have made necessary personnel changes at our Burleson community that sometimes must happen in our industry. Thank you again ... read more

Houses are nice, food is good. They do not do all that they tell you when you sign up.very little activities .very high turnover in staff.residents never get to go outside the caregivers aren't trained to care for people with memory issues.they may get a shower 1 × a week. And residents are left alone most of the time in there rooms. Rooms may appear clean but rarely are they cleaned like you would expect. And if your family member is sick its up to you to figure it out.caregivers don't pay that close attention at all. I'm ju... read more

The staff there were absolutely not trained to care for residents in memory care at all. They did not know how to talk and interact with the residents . They were too understaffed for the care the was needed. Cleanliness needed improvement.

Business response:

We are passionate about the care we provide and take great strides to make sure all of our Caregivers are trained in all aspects of care for our Residents. The facility nice at first, but don't be fooled. The place is poorly managed, the employees are overworked and receive little training. Employee turnover is ridiculous, likely due to the long hours, extra shifts and low pay. Incontinent residents are not changed often enough and get repeated UTIs. The residents rarely get the food posted on the menus and there is often not enough of it. Snacks and fruit are rare. Staff is 2 for 14 memory care patients. The also have to cook, clean, do laundry, tote supplies, answer the doo... read more

Drive on by and save some time and heartache. Mustang Creek Burleson's Memory Care facility scores low all across the board. We are thankful to have it in our rear view mirror. Let me provide a synopsis of the 5 page list of complaints: Understaffed & Overworked. Ineffective procedures for maintaining resident health and well being. High staff turnover which results in poor quality of care for residents. Dirty beyond belief. We are in awe of our new facility where the bathrooms are clean, the floors are clean, the residents ... read more

Private pay with no transition to Medicare. Rooms are very small and hard to navigate in a wheelchair due to the large doors and lack of options for furniture placement. 1/7 caregiver/resident ratio. Property is conveniently located and beautifully designed.

Business response:

Thank you for your review. We are always available to assist in any way needed and are happy to discuss solutions for all Residents so that they move freely in their home. We appreciate you taking time to tour our community and hope to see you again!
