Get directionsOverall 4 stars. Food: doesn't sound very nutritious. Lots of carbs: cheap white bread, a lot of noodles/pasta. Staff care is OK. They don't seem very well trained. Example, one of the helpers was bandaging my mom's arm after she had scraped it. The girl put bandages directly on the skin of a 96 year old with very thin skin. as you can imagine pulling the Band-Aids/tape off was excruciating, and it was a large area. However, most of the staff seems friendly and kind. The place smells decent so they must clean it fairly well.... read more

The houses for assisted living may have been good. I never saw that. But the Memory Care house was understaffed for what was needed. (My husband called me while laying on the floor because he couldn't get anyone's attention as his door was closed and no one checked on him) The menu sounded good but it wasn't what was received. Was told the others there ate it- well if you're hungry and don't know any better (memory care) you'll eat what's given you. When I went to get my husband his last night as he was totally miserable and... read more

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’d like to respectfully clarify a few important points for context. During the tour and initial assessment process, as you stated, we discuss in detail the level of care we provide, including that we are not able to offer 1:1, continuous private care. For residents who require that level of support, we typically recommend arranging private-duty caregivers, in addition to our staff. We understand that ultimately you chose to bring your husband home and arrange 1:1 care... read more
What we like the most about Mustang Creek is that the facility is like a house with 14 private bedrooms/bathrooms. The closeness of the care givers in the one house so they get to know each resident personally. The administration is very accessible to each resident and their family members.
Business response:
Debbie - Thank you so much for sharing your thoughtful feedback about Mustang Creek. We truly appreciate your kind words. One of the things we value most about our community is the home-like setting you described. This model in each house allows us to create a warm, comfortable environment while still providing personalized care. We’re especially grateful that you’ve noticed the closeness of our caregivers and that our administration team was accessible. Thank you again for trusting us and for being a part of the Mustang Cre... read more
I would say that the facility is always clean and is bright. It doesn't feel like a facility and has a homey feel. The staff at times aren't the best, but the house managers are wonderful. She is always clean, dressed, and up when I visit. She cannot move by herself so she has to rely on staff to move her from the bed to her chair. It's definitely the best place we could find based on her price point. I was frustrated that they raised rates almost [fee removed] dollars a month after she moved in. But it still feels like the ... read more

Staff not nice. They don't have the education to help the residents. The staff they have that are educated re: dementia DX are located in level one. Not in level 2.
Business response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take all concerns seriously, especially those related to resident safety and quality of care. We would like to respectfully clarify a few points. Our community does not operate with “Level 1” or “Level 2” care distinctions. Each resident is individually assessed by our leadership and care team to determine the most appropriate home environment based on their unique needs. All of our team members receive comprehensive training at the time of hire, as well as ongoing mon... read more

We like the small group feel of the individual buildings. And the activity director is so friendly. There are a ton of activity opportunities.

Management not hands on or helpful staff was not always aware of things. [community removed] was better but still 3 due to my dad had issues with another male patient that got physical and no one would explain what happened. he was sent to ER and i was notified

I would recommend. The main thing I like is that it's small houses, so more intimate, rather than an enormous building where it might be more intimidating for an elderly person. We have been happy with Mustang Creek. I think they are taking decent care of mom. Communication could be better
