Feedback from my siblings: I believe the staff were friendly and they care about the residents. They are overworked and most likely under paid. The last six months we took it upon ourselves to clean her room. There was more than one occasion that the sheets were soiled. I do know that this is a monotonous job and I appreciate the staff. Our main concern is there have been problems with the medication being given correctly. There are new staff so that will probably improve. She complains about food - too many starch and they run out of things. It always looks good to me though.
Food was processed, meds were given by housekeepers, workers were pleasant, and the room was kept clean. However, there was a lack of medication tracking. They contacted me when he had no needles left for his insulin shot, and medication refills were not tracked.

Food is average at best. Very high turnover. Tons of miscommunication and the Keller location is poorly managed. Entire management team at that location is new. Overall sales and marketing was a 5 including incentives offered. Management of the location, food and support of my mom once she got there
The cleanliness of the room and level of care were substandard and there was a significant price increase in less than a year. I would not recommend it. They make it sound really nice when you're looking to put your loved one there, but fail to provide the service they describe
The staff was very nice! However they are understaffed especially at the Memory care building. When my Dad was in the regular Assisted living for probably a week or two maybe. They failed to give my Dad his most important medication. This caused my Dad to decline mentally. I was told they couldn't give him any liquid medication that they had to dispense. I was the one that figured out he wasn't getting it and let them know that he should be getting it in cups from the pharmacy. He fell a couple times during those two weeks. ... read more
In all honesty, our family wanted to love this facility. However, we could not even like it! It was a nightmare from the beginning! Our mom only lasted 2 weeks at MCE and it was 2 weeks too long! From the FILTH, lack of supervision, little to no activities to keep those sweet people active and their brains occupied and apparent lack of proper training of their staff…this was beyond anything we could imagine! I loved that they had a flat rate that was inclusive of the care that was needed. They were disorganized on the communication and care regiment. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families because of the price
