I signed up with National Debt Relief in 11/2024 & have paid $384.00 every month since, it's now 07/2025. National debt relief persuaded me to stop paying my bills on time to prove financial distress, so I did. National Debt Relief let two creditors take me to collections and then summon me to court. Now I'm told if I don't pay thousands of dollars up front they can't settle it and will drop that creditor from the program, leaving me with a greater debt and court battles without the representation they promised. It sickens m... read more

Dispite telling the salesperson(s) at least ************************************* a settlement loan and that he should hang up if a settlement loan is part of my options...........I think I now have a settlement loan.

The bank messed up with my account by withdrawing double the monthly due.Fortunately I found someone patient enough that solved the problem, but it was not easy and for sure very frustrating.

They will not contact your creditors to make early payoff of debt owed unless you first make extra payments, and tell them adamantly that you want it done. You see there is a monthly service fee, a transaction fee and a legal fee plus a legal fee to a lawyer firm, said to help with any legal actions that might be taken against me from a creditor. Which is odd because settlements are made to satisfy the debt, so why would I need them through out the simple situation.

At beginning, every agent seemed genuinely interested in helping broke down all the info and possible/probable numbers sounded so positive!Took almost 2x as long ( over a year ) to negotiate down 1st ( of 2 ) creditorwith only a ~ 10 ish% reduction ..but after *** fees was EXACTLY AMOUNT IF I HAD NOT done *** THEN , GET SUMMONS FOR COURT ON 2nd ( of 2 ) creditor .which I was told almost NEVER happens , but *** FAILED ANY NEGOTIATIONS WITH CREDITORS IN 15 MONTHS !!! 15 MONTHS FOR THEM TO START NEGOTIATIONSAND WITH APPROX 10is... read more

I did not know I would spend the last 6 months just putting money in savings for it to go to fees, over $700 in fees for one card! It still hasnt touched my 4K balance with one of my cards and I haven't heard any negotiation updates on my other two cards. This program has made me feel stuck again in debt but now even more behind and with terrible credit. I will have to pay large fees again for the next card, but I hope Im not sued before they can settle. I just lost so much money and I felt they were predatory. I dont feel f... read more

The program does help with resolving your debts However, you need to read and ask lots of questions before signing any contract with them on truly how the system works completely. I was told by C.S.National Debt Relief Specialist that my debts would be paid off in 4 1/2 years and that their fees wouldnt come until the end of program. (Not True) Although they do negotiate with creditors to reduce the amount you owe, but they dont tell you their fees of 23-25% ( Depending on your state you reside in) of your original debt bala... read more
