Overall the program helps with resolving your debt. However, you need to understand that I felt like I was decieved about how the system worked. Until I figured it out completely. Although they do negotiate with creditors to reduce the amount you owe, when they contact you to give you the settlement amount it is very decieving. Alot of the time the settlement amounts sound very acceptable but after *** adds their fees (that they dont tell you about on each and every settlement) and costs to the balance it's not so good anymo... read more

This matter is regarding the false explaination and lack of transparency from the National Debt Relief program practices with the client seeking for debt relief guidance. National Debt Relief led me to believe that my debt could be resolved with the creditors, not telling me that the client has a history of not settling. Thus because I was advised to prove a "financial hardship" with the creditors I was advised not to pay the monthly bill. Very disappointing all settlement fees are taken before paying ************ paying $650/mo and $25 is going to the creditor. Ive been paying 6 months and they paid $100! Monthly maintenance for ***, legal fees and they make more than they save in the negotiation

National Debt Relief sounds great, but honestly, it doesnt live up to the hype. I have paid over 10k to them to help me with my creditors! Im currently being sued by one of my creditorsI stopped paying that creditor under the legal advice of ***!! I have 4 accounts with ***; 2 have been contacted by ***, and 2 have not. Balloon payments and inadequate follow-through on settlement ultimately resulted in a cost exceeding the initial debt. Not a single projection they promised panned out, and it was not worth being stuck in a contract with!

After working with this company for two years, I decided that I did in fact need to file for bankruptcy. While I was on the phone with the customer service representative I told her I could not afford the upcoming payment which was set to be drawn later this week. She said she understood however, she then proceeded to push it through earlier than it was supposed to be. I am livid and disgusted and feel like I got stolen from. I called my bank. I signed a contract to settle 5 credit card debts. It was for 3 years at 229 dollars a month. Its been 2 years and they still have 2 they havent even made a deal yet. And one they dropped out of the program They told me they needed more money to settle that **** and I told them we had a deal of 229 month for the 3 years.
