If I could give less than one star, I would Ive never signed up for this company, but yet they continue to call my phone 3 to 4 times a day and Ive asked them to stop. They are continuous and they call from different phone numbers each time I have over 150 numbers blocked from them. They will not honor my wishes of not calling.

Enrolled 35k debt with National Debt Relief. After settlements and fees paid 34k and credit score went from 720 to 450. A scam in my opinion.

Business response:

Hello,Thank you for reaching out to share your experience. At enrollment, we review the risks involved with debt settlement, including a drop in credit score while settlements are being worked out. We are more than happy to discuss your concerns and will be reaching out as soon as possible. Please also feel free to call us directly at ************.Sincerely,National Debt Relief

Completely screwed my credit by doing a soft inquiry. I was seeing what my options were. I told ****** that I didn't want to go through with the program because I was waiting on my VA disability to go through. Well last week my VA got approved. And now I'm 100% disabled with screwed even more credit because of her.

Business response:

Hi Ms. ******************** you for reaching out to share your experience. We can confirm you are not enrolled in our program and we apologize if you did not wish for a soft credit inquiry to take place. Since soft inquiries are only visible to you when you view your credit reports and do not damage your credit score. We recommend that you consult a credit professional for more information.Sincerely,National Debt Relief

I worked with National Debt Relief regarding help with payment plans that I had problems with. They offer programs that can be useful for consumers as an alternative to filing for bankruptcy. Their staff was shallow and less than desirable in terms of quality customer service. I worked with ****, ******* and ***** (spelling of her name uncertain, but they are supervisors) to no avail. I reached them after being transfered and told I'd be responded to within ***** hours on numerous occasions. They never called. I only moved f... read more

They are not doing what they said they would do. My job is now in jeopardy. They did not tell me that I had to wait until January for them to contact any of the parties involved. I had to pay one of them back before I lost my job. When I contacted them, they took the wrong one off the list. The number they gave me to give to the companies doesn't do anything; the places that I owe money to, still contact me and harass me. They promised to take care of that, so I wouldn't be harassed while they were helping me. But they are c... read more

NATIONAL DEBT RELIEF NEGOTIATED NOTHING! I was instructed to cancel ongoing payments and not call the company (********). I received a letter from ******** stating that they would no longer send letters or make phone calls. I wish they had! However, I continued to receive bills, but I did not open them, as instructed. After nine months, I got curious and opened one. Much to my surprise, $103 had been coming out monthly! I checked with my bank to discover that I had stopped the auto-draw from my computer, but it remained on m... read more
