A terrible company. It is Fee hungry. I decided to part ways with them because they took $2,012.60i fees out of the $3,184.00 they received from me. Please think it through before deciding to go with this company for debt relief. I feel like this program ruined my life, and its a scam. They tell you in the beginning to just stop paying all your credit cards, have no contact with your creditor, and start paying them. Its all fine and dandy at first because you think you are saving a few bucks by not paying your credit card payments. I just want to start by saying be cautious and get 2nd and 3rd opinions. I was looking a way to pay down my debt faster so I could purchase a home. I was directed to National Debt Relief for help. They may be good but I believe it is a shady risk. They tally up what interest you would have to double the amount you owe but make it in manageable payments. They do hard checks on your credit and afterwards they still want more personal information and documents after you agree and fill out everything..
This program will not help if you have anything other than credit cards. I have payday loans and they will say they will help but you will be taken to small claims court before they do anything. They will pressure you to pay double or triple the quoted amount for the first 6 months to maybe negotiate with. Those companies. Ultimately you will go to court alone and lose and have to pay court costs and lawyer fees and fines to the other side because of this. Be ready to spend time in court. **************** is excellent each time I spoke with them but they advised to remove a creditor due to the creditor not accepting the power of attorney from ***. After contacting the creditor, it was discovered that NDR failed to put the correct address on the *** and they would not let me re-enroll the creditor and told me I had to deal with it. Predatory!! They claim to not draw fees first but they absolutely take their fee before paying the lender causing it longer to pay off the lender! I decided to close my account and the remaining funds in my account are going to the company not my debt! Figures as much since they will pay themselves first even though they paid themselves before even paying my debt!Additionally I noticed that there is no place to leave a real review on their website, or anywhere else for that matter! once you sing up its impossible to cancel they tell you, you can cancel anytime by the time you cancel it will take few months.
